Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
He was trying his best to softly describe what he did with other woman (and men too) but she didn't seem to grasp it all. That was what was so innocent and naïve about Malia. She was just so inexperienced with life in general that sometimes, he didn't know whether to pity her, laugh at her, or just sigh. She asked if him human's got a new mate every night and he chuckled lightly. "Some do...but just to have fun. Others find one mate and that's all they ever want or need. Just depends on the person." Henry had his mate â€" he had Sterling. But damnit, the amount of blood that Sterling had lost due to him surely had killed him. So did that mean Henry didn't have a mate at all now? Why was this so confusing?
He mentioned the fact that she could get pregnant, making sure she knew exactly what could happen when two people had sex with one another. He was going to try his best to prevent pregnancy, but he knew that was always a risk. "I'll have fun with you, I just wanted to tell you the possibilities. I'm going to try to prevent it so you won't have pups." If he was going to educate her on the pleasures of the flesh, he was going to tell her about the risks...except STDs. That was another conversation for another day.
She asked him if he thought she was ugly and he shook his head. "No, definitely not ugly." In fact, he turned her on quite a bit. Perhaps that was part of the problem â€" she distracted him when he was trying his best to be faithful. At least with Sterling assumed dead, maybe it was okay.
He looked down at her hand as it brushed his thigh. She was looking at him almost waiting for him to do something. Slowly, he pulled her into his lap to straddle his hips. Hands rested on the shapely curve of her hips as his lips started low on her neck, kissing her softly. Hands gripped the hem of her shirt as he slowly began to pull it up and over her body, allowing his hands to explore the skin they encountered.
