Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
It was a very real fear for the blue eyed boy, that Henry might let that guilt eat at his very soul enough that he simply chose to leave him altogether. He was near desperate to fight for his boyfriend, to fight for their freshly blossoming relationship. Henry was his everything. He was quite literally all that Sterling had. That soft assurance that the man still cared for him hardly helped to ease his troubled soul as much as he liked. Rather, it was Henry's discovery of his own maker that prompted the man to dare to hope. He was certainly grateful that the man who had turned his boyfriend desired to be in his life, Henry certainly needed assistance with that control that his feline lacked. It was a matter that Sterling himself was entirely useless in assisting in. Even though, a part of him still felt that pang of jealousy at sharing the man with anyone. It was silly, he knew that. He suspected it largely had to do with his own insecurities of their current relationship than anything else.
Even so, the warlock was almost determined to ensure that Henry was well aware that simply loving the man was all he truly wished for. It was all he wanted - to continue in their efforts to move their relationship back into something more. That comment of Sterling's redecorating prompted a small glimpse of guilt on his features, his blue eyes turned briefly towards those plants that still decorated their windows, growing near unchecked by his own affinity. "Yeah, sorry about that." Sterling muttered oftly. "I'm still trying to....figure it out." He hadn't told Henry of those magical plants he had created with Harley, plants that had their own sense of being, their own consciousness. The idea of living in this....Ark with Henry's pack made him almost....anxious and yet, didn't he say all he wanted was to be with the man? His head slowly bobbed in consideration of that idea, those blue eyes simply watched as Henry suddenly leaned back against the sofa with clear exhaustion and slowly, Sterling shifted to his lover's side, his head rested against Henry's shoulder. This was exactly what he had wanted for so very long.
