Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

In this moment, there was but one singular thought that pierced through all the muddled concerns, fears, and alcohol that laded his brain. It was the simple fact that the woman standing before him was nothing shy of absolute beauty. Everything about her had a fashion to mystify him just as it had the night he had first met her at the bar. She had been the first person to truly notice him in a very long time, the first to reach out to him in a world stricken by darkness and offer a single - 'hello'. Even now, as she peered up at him beneath long lacy eyelashes, Tetradore could not deny the pull at which she held over him. A small simper crossed his masculine features at the reassurance that the shell was at least somewhat pleasing to her. The soft hue that crossed her cheeks no less tempting then the genteel touch of her chilled skin against his too hot flesh. The simple caress was more akin to a welcomed breath of air upon a hot summer's day. So many within his world burned of the fires of life - their species perhaps even more temperate then humans. It was if their blood somehow ran faster to cope with the shift that wrecked their bodies and twisted their anatomy. In that moment, he was lost in all that she was until she took a singular step away, refocusing his attention.

There was a small soft sigh upon his lips, his head shaking ever so softly. "I know, it is how we show affection isn't it? Buying pretty things for beautiful girls - how else would you prefer I show you that I like you?" His tongue was certainly far looser then it would have been on any normal day. Though quite frankly in the present moment he didn't particularly care if she did know exactly the thoughts she caused to drift across his mind. Never the less, his striking eyes stared at her with a clear inquisitiveness. If she preferred diamonds and pearls then he was certainly capable of procuring such things. He had, momentarily and in his state of inebriation considered adding some terrible jest regarding how his like had already brought her death but the thought had only caused his sister's firm sentiment on what he was to come crashing across his brain once again. It was a dismal thought, a black abyss that was yawning open to engulf him if not for the singular distraction in which she seemed ever capable of providing him, weather or not she knew his need of it. The beginning of her inquiry rewarded the girl with his attention once again, his head tilting ever so slightly as he waited in some patient fashion for her to finish the question that seemed to linger so forcefully upon her mind, despite her clear hesitation. Her words, however, are rewarded with a soft laughter, his head shaking ever so slightly.

"It is not all that fun. Can you imagine the paper work in running a place like this? The accounting is a damn nightmare." He responded, gesturing ever so slightly towards the papers that were quite literally strewn all over the table within his room. Tobias had recently discovered that stepping on them immediately rewarded him with Tetradore's attention, as frustrating as it was. Still, he was more then willing to oblige the girl, even if it took him a bit of effort to consider just what sort of thing she might possibly find fascinating about the Ark. Even now, with that demure look upon her fair features, he hardly wanted to subject her to the violence of the fights below, not to mention the spectacular angle at which he was given to watch them. Nor could he show her the colors of the sky as the sun peaked over the horizon on the deck of the ship. For a brief moment his thoughts trailed, going over every possible room in the Ark till one caused his eyes to twinkle at the simple notion. "There is something I can show you." He commented, maneuvering through the room to pause at his desk only to pull a large key from one of the drawers. "I think you might like it." He added with the most obscure of simpers.
