Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

This wasn't a good idea. She should have just had the driver stop her at the street and toss him the bag of money and then speed off! That's how this drop off should have gone. Why did she do it this way? What possibly made her think that being in his presence, alone without anyone else, be such a good idea? He didn't attack her at the café, because there were witnesses. This part of the South wasn't really a spot where there was frequent foot traffic. Uncertain with this whole ordeal she bit her lip as she tried to squash whatever uneasiness she felt. This wouldn't take long, because all she had to do was get in, hand over the bag and the plate of goodies, and be on her merry way! At least that was what she mentally relayed to herself over and over again. Blue-grey eyes narrowed when she felt a strange force start to poke forcefully through her mind. A deep soft growl could be heard vocally warning Frost to stop whatever it was he was doing. Her mind began to feel fuzzy as she felt that other side of her start to wake up, forcefully shoving that foreign presence from their mind. It may have been a bit too forceful, because Raven accidentally used her telekinesis to push Frost slightly back. Clearly her feral side was in no mood with him. The hair on her back stood on end as she finally reached the edge of the street where he stood apathetically.

Brining the plate of goodies and the backpack full of money towards him she waited patiently for him to take them, getting ready to spin around and walk away. Her dial tilted to the side as he questioned her on whether or not she poisoned these delicious homemade treats. Why would she poison them?! Sure, he deserved to be poisoned. Well, he deserved a lot of things. Like maybe a taste of his own medicine? Maybe he needed someone else to beat him into a blood corpse and then suddenly freeze him to death. Then maybe, just maybe, he might actually understand just how wrong he was to attack her. Besides he had no idea just how much her pack actually enjoyed her baking skills. Every time she began to prepare a meal she had to keep a close eye on her food as she cooked their food. Knowing her Alpha and mate were capable of popping in and out with that shadow transport power. The last thing she needed to happen was her mate or Alpha being accidentally poisoned! Speaking gently, with as much bravery as she could muster, she delivered her next choice of words carefully and firmly.

"If I did, why would I tell you?"

Well, it is true! Who would tell someone they were about to poison them!? It made zero sense. Besides, she had no intention of being nearly beaten to death again. Apparently the paranoid pony needed some reassurance. With him shouldering the backpack on his shoulders, she pulled the plastic wrap from the top of the plate and grabbed one of those scrumptious brownies, and bit into it slowly. Looking him square in the eye she swallowed and then began to eat the rest of the brownie, making a silent point. Attempting to stand her ground she crossed her arms in front of her staying still. She was doing it. She was actually doing it! She wasn't cowering or submitting. Even though they were in the South they were not within his territory, which meant she could temporarily be this confident. It was all a façade, but she was trying here. Seeing him bend to grab his other back she could feel herself start to sigh in relief. She was almost done! All he had to do was say the word and she would high-tail it out of here! Unfortunately though his next question caused her to panic. She had nothing scheduled after this meeting. The plan was to leave and go home, maybe make supper, or run around town with Tobi. That firm voice she once had started to wavier slightly as she attempted to keep her coolness.

"No, but that doesn't mean no one will come looking for me if I don't return home."

Yes, if she didn't come home her pack would surely be aware! All she had to do was pluck that mental link she shared with all of them, and send them a message that she was in trouble. Her spotted companion could find her anywhere he would come running if he knew she was injured. Sometimes having an overprotective fiancé came with its advantages. Staying still for a moment she watched him carefully looking so some sort of sign that showed he was going to harm her. It was when he gruffly asked whether or not she was coming did she take a tentative step forward, keeping her arms crossed, as she followed after him...unwillingly. Weakly she murmured softly keeping a few feet of distance between them, gently tugging the shadows that laid on the pavement, ensuring she had a hold on them just in case he tried to attack her.

"I find that hard to believe that you won't attack me."
