Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Residences

He knew he would have never found a way to belong in her world before this one. Paris would be a great adventure and maybe some day they could go together, that way she could show him all her favorite places, but other than that, he would have never found himself in a place so glamorous. He was all about small towns where everyone knows their neighbor's business. That was how he grew up. That was all he knew. He didn't want to think about if circumstances were different, if they'd never come across each other. All that mattered was that they did and now he was never letting go, not if it was up to him. He didn't want to think about all the what if's and would have been's. She was his and that was where she belonged. He liked where they ended up, even if it was a rough road that got them to that point. If it wasn't for their past experience, he was sure things might not have gone as they did. He could only ever see himself as the man he was right now. He couldn't see himself as successful or owning his own business. It just wasn't in the cards for a nobody like him.

He knew that he would do anything for Adelaide, but he hated feeling like he was living off of her. She was paying his bills. Yeah, he was working for the cash but still, it felt like mooching. He just didn't know what else to do. He was a handyman. He had a lot of skills. But he wasn't certified and he didn't have anything, not even a high school diploma. He had promised Adelaide that night on the hill that he wanted to earn the right to be at her side and he meant every word. He just had to find out where to start. He loved Adelaide. She meant everything to him. He could only imagine all the mischief they would get up to in the week to come. He looked forward to every minute of it. She said she welcomed any distraction from him and he smirked, his eyes dancing. "I'll have to remember that." When he told her she could look and touch, she leaned in to whisper that she intended to do that. He loved seeing that little glitter in her eyes, like she was up for anything. It let him know that he wasn't the only one losing his mind in her presence.

He said that they were never too old for a pillow fort and she leaned into him. He stroked her hair and kissed her forehead, reveling in this closeness. When he teased her about the dishes, she said that she was his girlfriend and he didn't need to fuss over her. He chuckled. "I think that's pretty much in my job description as boyfriend. Just sayin." He smirked. She washed the dishes and went behind the couch. He knew she was up to something but he liked the element of surprise. So he dragged it out until he stood up and could fully appreciate whatever she'd done. And appreciate it, he did, every glorious inch of the newly exposed skin on her upper body. She was gorgeous. She nibbled on her bottom lip which only made him that much harder as he quirked a brow. She teased him about not liking it and he shook his head. "Oh no, that's definitely not it. It's distracting but in a good way. Now I have a goal in mind...and sight." He smirked.

He went to the sink to wash his dishes and he hated walking past her and not being able to touch her, at least not yet. Still, he was practicing his discipline. And he had to practice a lot of it around her. He went into the bedroom to grab some sheets and pillows, more than ready for a little camp out in the living room before their big adventure tomorrow. When he returned to the living room though, it was all he could do not to drop everything. She had taken off her pants now and was in the sexiest thong he'd ever seen. He swallowed, his eyes widening. He set the stuff down, trying his best to still be broody and confident as he announced they'd need to rearrange the furniture. She stepped closer and his hand automatically went to her hip like it belonged there, his gaze dropping to hers as she said he wouldn't need his shirt. He smirked. "Guess not." He whispered even as she lifted the shirt over his head.

He was surprised as she then put the shirt over her own head. He looked her up and down. "Yeah...it looks better on you anyway." As she moved to the loveseat, he moved to the other side. "Good a place as any to start. We'll move this over there and move the couch more over there to act as supports. The tables can go up against the wall." He sounded all serious, like it was a construction job or something. But his gaze never strayed far from her. He knew where the end goal was.
