Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Ashes to Ashes

Anna's relatively new ability to daywalk meant her sleep schedule was still haphazard at best. There were so many new opportunities open to the small vampire during the day that there weren't at night. Hunting was still problematic so she stuck to the night for that at least. She had stumbled back into the manor long after the sun had risen, exhausted after playing at the park with her furry pet. Her pet had been disheveled from the whirlwind, hair sticking up in every direction but Anna had been too tired to address that. The little vampire had simply pulled on her nightgown and collapsed on top of her bed with her arm curled about her pet.

Both familiar and near foreign lyrics woke Anna from her slumber, rolling over from where she had passed out on her stomach to sit up and rub tiredly at her eyes. The fact that her pet was no longer there with her on the bed didn't even cross her mind in that moment. Instead, crystal blue eyes fell on the woman who stood in the doorway. Crishlyn had been gone so long that the child vampire had simply assumed she was never returning. The sudden appearance perhaps believed to be a mirage or perhaps she was still dreaming. But Crishlyn never disappeared no matter how much she blinked the sleep from her eyes. What welled up within the young girl at realizing Crishlyn was truly back was an odd mixture of anger and surprise. Anna's fangs bared in Crishlyn's direction as the shadows that clung to the room immediately sprung into motion, slithering along the floor to gather in a rolling mass, becoming larger and larger until a hunched imp shaped creature stood nearly as tall as the room with clawed spindly fingers.

The dense shadowed creature hardly made a move in Crishlyn's direction from where it stood at Anna's side beside the bed. It did however raise one of those spindly fingers to point menacingly at Crishlyn. "You left." Anna spoke finally, her tone grumpy and accusatory as she folded her arms across her chest with narrowed gaze. It would take more than sweet words for Anna to get over having been abandoned.
