Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Edie's mind felt certainly rattled by the entire situation, though the one thing she could focus on was the children that were sent away from the room. The small girl's protests were enough to get a quirk of amusement from the fractured girl. How she remembered being that way with her own parents. Her Yorkshire upbringing had yielded a girl who often attempted to argue (though her teenage years had nearly knocked that out of her with everything she went through with Beck). Upon her first move to Sacrosanct, she'd held the same fiery personality with Frost and had found herself a prominent spot within the pack at that. Though she knew that title of Beta was long gone with her two year disappearance, she hoped her place within the pack could at least be obtained again.

Edie hardly focused on cleaning the blood off her arms, instead focusing on Nadya's words regarding the little girl. "She reminds me of me." She said quietly. "Spirited. And I know you'll never squash that out of her." It was that tiny allusion to her past that she knew Nadya was aware of, though she didn't continue on that line of thought. She knew Nadya would be nothing but wonderful for both of her children. Edie was silent as she cleaned herself off, only nodding her consent that yes, Nadya could heal her. She felt fine, though the shock of everything made her question just how hurt she might be. She didn't feel particularly different after Nadya healed her, though she did glance up at Nadya's offer of going to the doctor.

"The doctor," Edie nodded, her green eyes focused on Nadya. "I... we were going to go when we got here. We hadn't been yet. I haven't seen... it." Kato had been so sure that it was a boy, though Edie knew somehow that it would be a girl. They'd debated it just last night, though they both knew that they'd be happy as long as the baby was healthy. "Can we please go? I just... I want to make sure I still have some piece of my family."

She knew Kato was gone, though Nadya seemed unwilling to allow her to continue down that line of thought right now. No, she wanted her to rest. Not to upset herself. "Frost..." Tears welled in Edie's eyes at the mention of her formal Alpha. She'd loved him in a different way then she'd loved Kato. The kind of love that happened solely because Frost was the first person to see Edie as useful, and certainly the first person to treat her that way. "I missed him. I hope he's not too angry with me." She wiped at her eyes, trying to bite back the tears that spilled down her cheeks. "I hope he'll let me be here. And my old room." She sniffled, her emotions threatening to completely overwhelm her.

"I think I ate yesterday," Edie said very softly as she drew her knees to her chest. Time had a way of slipping away from her. "I'm not hungry. I just.. Can we go to the doctor now? I need to see her... it." She put her hand on her stomach, needing to feel that aspect of Kato that rested inside her. "I want to hear the heartbeat. And I want to just make sure it's okay. I..." It was Nadya's last words that made Edie shake her head, a whole new wave of tears spilling down her cheeks. "I appreciate that, but I just... I don't think so. I think he's gone. And if I had stayed I could have healed him. I could have..."
