Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

It was perhaps unwise that she would remain in this form while they walked through the city. Having a bloody would, carrying a shoe, at your side was bound to have every man, woman, child, and their mother stop and gawk. Thick ebony and silver fur bristled as she felt each individual eye looking at her. She didn't like attention. Having attention, to her, was life threatening. Always when she was allowed to wander around before she was to return in her cage, cold glares were always casted in her direction. With their cold eyes came the heated insults thrown at her, a snap, a bite, a push given to her as she zig-zagged her way through to arrive at the destination she wanted to be in. With her pads shuffling along the pavement, blood starting to dry up, having those stares and whispers from the others within the city only brought bad memories. Of course she could have made this easier on herself and just change and look like a badly injured girl, but then that might cause even more attention- and unwanted help be they friendly or otherwise. She wasn't keen on the idea of going to this Witch's house, but how could she deny the girl. She was stupidly dressed and couldn't handle protecting herself, as she had recently observed, so really she was doing the girl a favor. Even if she was battered. Standing at her threshold, while the girl began to twist the knob to her unlock door, her grey ear twitched hearing the girl grumbling. Without missing a beat she replied with a matter-of-fact tone.

"Because you don't talk."

Cheeky as her comment was, it wasn't enough to take her mind off her personal pain as she limped after the woman. Only standing still, as her head was lifted upwards cold nose moving back and forth, as blue-grey slits narrowed. This was a new territory, an unknown one, and nothing in her told her to put her guard down. Hearing the door shut behind them only rattled her more as she slowly realized she was trapped within an enclosure once more. She didn't like being in her own home, so it shouldn't be a surprise that she would feel uneasy in this one. Looking at her new surroundings, her ears would twitch at the sound of the girl's desperate tone, a very soft whimper came from her in acceptance. She was uncertain that she would be capable of doing such a thing. Turning her dial around to inspect her bleeding shoulder, eyes averted to her side as her tail flicked with irritation. Dropping the shoe on the floor, she would lift her paw, and eye the floor. Lifting her paw, one long pink tongue would lap up as much of the blood as she could. Eyeing her paw and giving a quick glance at the floor, she would slowly move forward keeping her injured paw up as much as she could, letting it briefly get on the ground. Following the woman, as fast as she could, she would reach the door that would lead them to the basement. Turning her head around she noticed the floor held a few blood spots here and there, but she couldn't help but release out a happy bark as her tail swayed side to side.

"Nailed it!"

Taking the stairs down, as best as she could, silently heading for the middle of the room obeying what the Witch wanted. As soon as she reached the designated area, she would sit on her haunches, eyes now focused on the glowing vials, eyeing the cauldrons and oddly shaped daggers. Curious her head would tilt to the side as she looked at all the oddity around her taking pleasure in seeing, but secretly fearing just what this girl was going to do. It if it was evident now, the girl had hardly accepted any first aid from anyone before. She held various scars that were permanently etched into her skin, all given to her with reasons that she wished not to think about. Looking at her injured paw a very meek inquiry brushed the Witch's mind gently.

"Why...are you doing this?"
