Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

It was good to see Troy again, Andras having been, admittedly, avoiding the man. If he was being honest, he had been avoiding everyone. His anger had even gotten him into a tiff with his housekeeper Ida, who in turn, smacked him upside his head. Ida was perhaps the only person alive who could scold him like a child, not because she was probably the most ancient creature in the world, but because she had helped to raise him. She viewed everyone as a child. Still, even with her scolding, fierce enough to strip a man bare, Andras still had a tidal wave of emotions racing through him. Perhaps it was the very reason of him leaving Somnia altogether... only to have Matteo harass him relentlessly. Yet, the Fae Lord was altogether thankful for the older faerie, pushing him into that rage only for his home to be trashed and not that very outlet mall Matteo had so predicted he would. Immortal temper tantrums were not something to be taken lightly, those very immortals able to demolish half a city if their anger so wished. Still, those were all excuses Andras had given himself and now he needed to focus on his court; the very reason for seeking Troy out tonight.
He knew the question about Lani was coming, Andras hardly wanting to talk about it and yet Troy deserved the truth. The man had risked his life to accompany Andras on his mission. Of course, the faerie had lost sleep over the woman but he had woken today with a clear mind; the first in a long time. It was also a pain that would never go away, he was certain he would quietly love the blonde-haired woman until his very existence faded away. Still, he wouldn't allow his own emotions to be thrown dangerously in the way of his court's wellbeing. Reaching out, he clasps the man's shoulder in a brotherly fashion, thanking the man from the bottom of his heart. Troy's response has a grim line flattening his lips as he gives a dip of his head, "I know you would," he admits gratefully. Dropping his hand back to his side, he rolls his shoulders slightly, as if a weight were being lifted off him as he voices his thoughts on Somnia. Troy's response was expected, he would be wary too, especially traveling to a different world altogether. He was having the very same issues with Dorian, their fellow faerie having been rather... distraught at the whole situation. He very much doubted Dorian would be returning anytime soon and that Sebastian might have words for him, or a fist as Matteo had so predicted. An internal wince racks his brain but Sebastian had every right to know him upside the head and Andras has even admitted to Matteo he would allow it.
The invitation into his home has Andras smiling slightly, a gentle shake of his head no, "I can't stay, I have a meeting with the local lords in a few hours. That's what I wanted to talk to you about," Andras states, his hands sliding into his pockets casually. "As far as I know, none of the lords are apart of it but there is a storm brewing in Somnia. I believe Lani was a target simply because she had relations with me," Andras says, the smile falling from his features as a seriousness takes over, "I've come to warn you to keep your eyes and ears open. Somnia is still a safe place, the lodge is an impenetrable fortress despite its appearances, no one is allowed in without an invitation. If you do wish to visit, let me know as soon as you can. If you need me, we are linked now that you're apart of the court," Andras explains, "It's entirely up to you, Troy. If you open your mind to me, I can familiarize it, that way you can contact me at any point, even if I am in Somnia. I don't delve into memories, it's simply so that I can communicate with you mind to mind." It was something he hadn't done in a long time, offering up one's mind was putting complete faith in the other.
"I apologize for bringing such dark news," Andras gives a small dip of his head, "I think I may need to call on your aid again in the future but I also understand if you want no part in it," he admits, sincerity coating his lyrics in that moment. If Troy wanted nothing to do with the inner turmoil in the court he would leave it at that.
