What You'll Find Here

Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

It truly was the best day, the sun was warm with a light breeze as she walked alongside her mate with her children happily hurrying ahead of them towards the barn, and the knowledge that within her grew the next addition to their family. Nadya had no inkling to the species of their child, nor its gender at this point and as she answered that question of Frost's she couldn't help but wonder if he had a preference. Such a path of worry about him being displeased at having a panther child or a gender he didn't care for...did he want a boy as most males desired? What if it was a girl? Nadya had to shake her head as she focused once more on the present.

The young brunette brushed a kiss to his cheek with those muttered words of affection, choosing to focus on what could be decided. A name that he chose and connected the child to its heritage was something she wanted and knew he would too. Nadya hummed her affirmative in response, "I mean, the twins will probably need a nickname for it until they're old enough to pronounce it...but it's something I want for our child." She paused in that barn alley to watch the twins go about greeting the occupants of the stalls before making their way to their own pony. It did take quite the restraint for her not to instruct them to be careful. It was good practice for her to relinquish those reigns and hand over that care to her mate...after all, his involvement would be far more with their own child would it not?

"The appointments are really simple. They do an ultrasound which is a picture on a screen of the baby. They take measurements and make sure it's developing normally. You can find out the gender after a certain age too. You also get to hear its heartbeat." That by far was the best part for her; hearing her baby's heartbeat made that pregnancy so much more real. Nadya was broken from that blissful feeling she had this morning by the twin's bickering. At least it would be a while before the new baby would be able to bicker like them. "Yes, you need to let your brother go first." Nadya confirmed her decision despite her daughter's pitiful pouting look towards Frost. You would think by now she'd learn that her pouts would never sway Frost but it never stopped her from trying. Frost's answer was the same, Micah would lead this time.

Nadya watched Isabella run off to the task she was given as Micah led the pony into the alley and confidently tied it up. Micah seemed to genuinely like caring for the pony and was proud of his accomplishment given the smile she caught at Frost's approving look. She was glad he found something he enjoyed doing. Nadya's warm smile faltered though at Izzy offering that comb in her direction. Nadya offered a side wrinkle of her nose at Frost at his teasing comment before looking back at her hopeful daughter. "Oh...uh...I thought I was here to watch you and see what you learned." Her trust of ponies was only mildly better than her first lessen seeing as Frost had said that pony was bomb proof and yet still managed to scare her to death with its squeal. She was sure she'd do something to displease their pony too.

At Izzy's insistence, Nadya sighed softly and took the comb, gingerly placing a hand on the pony's side as she stepped up to it. There was no way she was going to stand behind the pony though and as awkward as it was, remained standing further back at its hip brushing mostly the top of the tail. This caused both children to gaze quite curiously at their mother. Do they tell her she's not doing it right or would they get in trouble? Micah glanced towards Frost, looking for that guidance.
