Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

he was both everything you could ever want
and nothing you could ever have

There was, Sebastian was coming to realize, quite little about Troy and Amelia that was not utterly baffling. From their intimate life to the birth of their child, all of it was quite near unheard of for the vampire, that surprise certainly crossing his features more than once tonight. It was truly peculiar for a fae to be so....fertile as Troy seemingly had mastered, much less for a vampire to be capable of conceiving in the first place. Everything about Tenley was an impossibility, and yet, still she existed. It was, however, Amelia's unexpected admittance of how long she had foregone those intimate activities that perhaps astonished both of the Italian royals, even if Sebastian was far more able to keep his composure than his own husband. A singular glimpse was given towards the fae at his side, the vampire ensuring his lover was okay before his gaze fluttered back towards the woman across the table from him. Amelia hardly seemed perturbed by their surprise as she continued to suggest that disallowing herself such intimacy for so long had made finally engaging within such activity all the better. Even Sebastian was incapable of keeping his eyebrow from raising it a clear glimpse of skepticalness. After all, the vampire's very existence revolved around those intimate activities that Amelia simply did without. The incubus had craved those evenings of sex even far before he'd ever met Dorian. So many of his nights had been simply dedicated to finding a body to occupy his bed and the theft of their blood in turn.

The very thought of the blood he took from his own victims, however, seemed to coincide with Amelia's own slight change in the topic as she continued with her insistence that her self-control too extended to the way she fed. An almost subtle frown marred the corner of his features though Sebastian was quick to replace it with an altogether neutral glimpse of polite interest. Sebastian, after all, only fed from the very veins of those he handpicked to consume. Nights such as this when he might sip cold blood from a chalice were altogether rare. God, he hoped that Amelia did not somehow impact any such thoughts that he should take up a similar feeding style upon his lover. It was no secret that though Dorian permitted his more...flirtatious tendencies when it came to his hunting, the fae was not particularly pleased with them either. The very consideration only reminded him further of how Amelia, in many ways, was a direct contrast to everything that Sebastian himself embodied and he, in turn, was the very epitome of all those animalistic urges she'd previously sought to deny herself. To voice any word of dissonance, however, would be strikingly undignified for the Italian Prince and so, instead, Sebastian chose to keep his silence as the conversation shifted towards any power that Amelia might have that aided with the birth of her child. His own husband was quick to point out that, at times, abilities might take centuries to blossom, when the moment was right. Troy, it seemed, might have provided the correct catalyst to cause the blossoming of her ability to bear children - the mere conjecture was certainly astounding enough to consider for Troy that his own gaze seemed to widen at the thought.

Unfortunately, Amelia's capability to bring life into this world posed a new problem for the couple - future pregnancies. The most obvious choice, of course, seemed the one neither of the couple was entirely fond of, though why Sebastian was...baffled by. Still, he supposed such was not his place to merely suggest they simply accept the options they had. The very curtness upon Troy's lips saw his refined brow to raise again, mirroring his lovers own at that moment, though he too chose not to voice a thought upon the apparent delicacy of the topic. Rather, it was a singular suggestion that Sebastian offered, though whether or not it might prove futile or helpful remained to be seen. Amelia's inquiry on whether or not they knew anyone who might be of assistance, however, was one quickly answered by his lover. Admittedly, even Sebastian failed to keep company with the witches, the only one he knew, Vhalla, was far more likely to burn them then provide them with any useful birth control method. Thankfully, Troy seemed to have the very sort of connections that Sebastian and Dorian lacked. "I hope you find someone who might be able to help." He responded, placing his fork down upon his own plate. The sound of his lover's voice immediately drew his attention and silently the vampire nodded in agreement. He had become accustomed, in some ways, to the fae King declaring when they left and how long they stayed. "Thank you for dinner," Sebastian added with a warm simper. At the very least, this one was completed without any unexpected events.
