Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Residences

There was no denying that the young vampire's routine had changed since that fateful evening. For the past two years, Chizue had become all but scarce to the real world, the woman rarely venturing out of the depths of the townhouse that had once belong to Isolt. Feeding was the furthest from her mind and yet, when life so dictated it, she too remained as close to that perceived sanctuary as she could. Fear, after all, was still entirely potent within her despite the near uneventful time that had passed. She was, admittedly, thankful that Damon had chosen a place such as that diner for tonight's adventure. It was...quiet at this hour, and certainly rather quaint. She'd have to remember it, for the next time those vampiric needs required her to leave her home. A soft breath left Chizue's lips as her chocolate irises glanced over the inhabitants, the pair momentarily standing almost awkwardly within the entryway. Nevertheless, it hardly took the girl long to decide which of those auras was most...favorable. There was a certain placidity to the elderly couple that drew her, prompting her to gesture lightly towards them.

The small nod was all Damon provided before he led the way down the aisle, only to have Chizue trailing after him with clear nervousness. Her fingers toyed with the hem of her shirt, even as she slid into the booth beside him. It was rather ingenious really, providing the girl the closeness she required without having to actually interact with the couple. A soft breath left the girl's lips as her eyes fluttered closed. Figuratively, she reached for that aura that brushed so closely with her own, drawing it into her till the dull grey hue became as bright and vibrant as the one of the elderly man behind her. It hardly took more than a few minutes of absolute silence before those chocolate eyes fluttered open. A warm simper spread across her features as she turned towards Damon, only to pick up the menu in front of her. "Have you eaten yet, dear?" Chizue required, her voice so strikingly cheerful in comparison to the quiet, fearful girl she had been only moments ago. "How about some coffee? Oh look, they have pancakes!"
