Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The girl was certainly fascinating with her lavender eyes and her snow pale hair. She stood out in a crowd even without the supernatural blood running through her veins. Seh still led a fairly normal life too which astounded him in a way. Did she choose that or was it chosen for her? Some fae, it was hard to tell their age, so was she old enough to know the dangers of what she was or was her age closer to the truth? Perhaps in time he would find out. He watched as she told the adminstrator that she would be back for rehearsal, so sure of herself as she led him out of the dance school and into town. He matched her stride, forcing his longer legs to cooperate so he didn't feel like he was dragging her. Her hand felt so warm in his own and he was sure his own was probably cold-feeling to her, yet she didn't comment on it. He could feel the veins pulsing in her fingers even as they gripped his own yet his hunger was kept in check by years of discipline.

Once they were in the ice cream shop, she knew immediately what she wanted and he teased her about taste testing. She confidently said that she didn't have to test them, that she just knew and he couldn't help but chuckle and nod. "Well, alright then." He gave in. How could he argue with that? He bent down next to her as they were waiting in line, telling her he had a secret and true to a child's nature, she was instantly intrigued. He didn't even blink as the lights grew really bright before dimming back down and he grinned in her direction, waiting for her to make the connection. It didn't take long before she was whispering back to him in an excited question and he shrugged. "Powers." As she grabbed his hand and led him over to give their order, he waited patiently and went with her to sit down.

Watching her munch on the ice cream, he wondered for the first time in a long time what it must taste like. He could eat human food but it didn't really taste the same, not like what he liked to remember it tasted like, back when he was human. When she leaned in close, he lifted a brow, smirking when she asked what else he could do. He looked around as if searching for eavesdroppers before looking back at her. "Hm, well..." He glanced around, seeing a radio on the counter behind the ice cream. Smirking, he looked back at her as it turned on and flipped to a radio station, playing ACDC as loud as it could go. The ice cream employee gasped and ran over to it, trying to turn it down but it wouldn't do as he wanted. Another employee came out, seemingly his boss, and started yelling at him to turn it off but the guy kept helplessly shrugging as he tried hitting button after button.

The boss went over to it and was about to throw it on the floor when it suddenly turned off. He tilted his head to Maeve as if to say "well?"
