Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
As they entered their bedroom she kept an eye on him, waiting to see if he would ask her why again or not. Yet it would seem he was distracted by reason as to why he brought her here in the first place, the present he had wrapped and placed on their made up bed. As he picked up the oddly wrapped present and placed it roughly into her hands, she went to the bed to sit down and unwrap it. As she complimented him on his wrapping, she looked up to see him proudly puff his chest out as he proclaimed he did indeed wrap it...well. Managing to find all the gifts inside she thanked the man, finding his gifts quite sweet and endearing. When she asked about the blue clothing gifts she noticed his brow start to furrow as he struggled to reply. Sending that perhaps it was his other half that gave her the gifts she quickly dismissed another thought as she responded softly and pressed her lips gently to his own, helping him easily forget she asked in the first place. Now that it was her turn to give him his own presents she cheerfully exclaimed it was her turn and allowed a sweater to cover his face. Smiling she took out his presents from her hidden spot and allowed them to lay on the bed, taking the sweater off, so he can see them and open them. As he started to tear through his presents she stood, quietly watching him and seeing him grim with each gift he found. When he found the leather jacket she nodded and replied gently.
How many times she had to encourage her mate to dress appropriately for winter all these years she simply lost count. It wasn't hard to see that the man admired their Alpha. Every now and then she would find her leopard copy whatever it was the panther was doing. Whenever she was working with Tetradore, helping him look over paperwork or sign them, she found Tobi on the floor with his crayons mimicking Tetradore. Now that her husband had a leather jacket of his own, perhaps he would start to dress appropriately. As he claimed her presents were very good things her smile only widened, her cheeks blushing slightly.
Sitting next to her mate, she gave him the present wrapped in blue. A bit tense, she was uncertain with how he was going to open this one up. She didn't want him to accidentally rip it, although a photo album with a thick cover should be able to withstand him. Quietly she watched as he started to trace the lettering on the album and then flip through the pages to see the various photos she collected. As she explained the meaning behind the gift she waited patiently to see whether or not he liked it. The man was more into games and toys than something...heartfelt like this. Hearing him claim he did like the gift without any hesitation just made her light up instantly, before she could say anything she felt his lips press against her pink cheek. As he got to the page that showed the stork she watched as he pointed towards the drawing of the stork. As he uttered her nickname she titled her head to the side and listened.
It was an innocent question and yet she was curious as to his answer. Looking back at the stork she nodded and explained, pointing out the little leopard and wolf paw prints that traveled around the page.
Gently she would take the album from him and show the different empty pages they had yet to fill. Placing a gently kiss on his cheek she laid her head on his shoulder, sighing softly contently.
