Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
It had been a whirlwind of chaos whisking Scarlett into the house and sweeping aside an area for her unconscious body to lie. Only now as Frost dug into the wound with the tweezers was Nadya left in a stillness, brushing her hand in reassurance against her packmates head. Waiting had never been Nadya's strong suit, especially when one of her family was hurt. Nadya could only watch in tense apprehension as Frost dug out that bullet. Seeing the bullet tossed aside and Scarlett's wound beginning to stitch up finally allowed a certain tension to leave her shoulders. Surely Scarlett would be ok now.
Gratefully it didn't take long for the she-wolf to stir, the slow thump of her tail on the ground causing Nadya to smile softly. Nadya willingly and happily wrapped her arms around Scarlett when the wolf shifted to lean on her. Her smile faltered at Scarlett's apology. "Oh Scar, you're no trouble at all. We're just glad you're ok. You gave us quite a scare." Even more so did her heart clench at Scarlett explain just why she had come to be in that predicament. They had guessed it had been hunters...but to still be after the twins. Nadya shook her head and took Scarlett's in her hands to turn the canine's snout to look directly into her eyes. "You did good. We could never be upset at you for doing whatever you needed to do to protect the pack." Nadya glanced over to Frost for his backup as she once more wrapped her arms around Scarlett.
After a moment Nadya shifted to grab the throw blanket from the couch and toss it around Scarlett. "Now, why don't we get you cleaned up properly so the twins can come down and see that you're ok." Although children were spared from the extremes of the pack bond, she knew they would have felt tension and been unsure what was going on. Nadya waited on Scarlett to shift so that she could take the woman into the bathroom and help her wash off.
