Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
It was a small shock to see Scarlett at her door, and even more so for that request to go outside. The canine's aversion to the forest even on the full moon hadn't been missed by anyone. There was absolutely no way she was going to let this moment pass by. Nadya was swift to set the twins up safely before following Scarlett's trail out of the house. Feline replaced human and those large paws carried her with grace over their fence.
The ebony jaguar let a soft chuff escape her lips as she brushed in classic welcoming feline fashion along her packmate. Nadya's question was met with thoughtful silence at first before the creek was suggested. There were plenty of waterways in the forest but given the direction Scarlett indicated she was sure she knew the one. Her large feline head dipped slightly in acknowledgement before turning off in that direction.
"Race ya!" A rumble akin to a chuckle left the jaguar's throat as she took off in the direction of the creek. Although it hadn't been terribly long since the last time she was in her feline form, a good run was rare. The twins weren't yet big enough or had enough stamina to run very far. It was a wonderful feeling being able to finally stretch those muscles and feel the breeze rushing against her as her paws kicked up beneath her. Nadya spared a glance back to ensure her packmate was following. It was truly a beautiful day for an outing and she was glad to have the solo time with her friend.
When they came to the creek Nadya extended her claws and dug her paws down, effectively digging into the earth creating a small spray of soil as she screeched to a stop. Her lungs heaved in a delightful way that always came from the exertion of a good run. "You don't know how much I needed that." This was just as much of a need for her as it was for Scarlett. Hopefully her packmate would be comfortable to talk about those feelings that had kept her reclused over those past weeks.
