Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

His Royal Majesty

Dorian Ellington-Aragona

The King of Italy

It was decidedly rare, in every sense, for the Monarch to be awake at such a time of day as this. The royal couple, after all, so tended to keep to a schedule befitting Sebastian's own species. Evenings were by far more preferable for the vampiric Prince and as such, much of Italy had embarrassed the very notion that matters of court were held at night. Dorian and Sebastian inclined to sleep for most of the daylight hours. Their home was nothing if not distinctly quiet during such times. Charles and Elizabeth had long since retired to bed in turn leaving only those sentry guards and the gardeners awake to tend to their tasks. Today however, Dorian himself was inclined to wakefulness. The Monarch having been all but determined to spend several daylight hours with his newest pet. That gift from Sebastian had taken pride of place in a large rabbit hutch within their expansive gardens. Dorian having spent the past half hour holding that ten week old English Lop rabbit, his fingers stroking lovingly through its soft grey fur. Such a splendid creature it was! Dorian so having quickly become enchanted with its long ears and silken fur. The hand raised bunny was terribly tame and indeed had taken to the Monarch in turn.

"Come, I shall show you the rest of our garden."

Those accented words were uttered softly to his new pet, Dorian content to hold the rabbit gently within one arm as he stroked its ears with his free hand before he rose gently from the ground to stroll easily amongst those hedges and flowers and neat shrubbery he himself had grown. So many of those plants and flowers were designed to bloom at night, after all, Dorian had been determined that Sebastian enjoy their garden to its fullest and yet- how very pleasant it was to stroll through that space within the day. The Fae King paused but every few moments to point out several features of that green space to his beloved pet, as if the small creature might truly perceive such things, before continuing on. One of those gardernes glanced but briefly up from the flowerbed he worked diligently on, the Fae King afforded a distinct bow before the man returned to his task. Dorian and his pet content to stroll around behind several hedges and toward the duck pond. He would need to take several photos of his new pet enjoying those plants, if only to show Sebastian when he woke. The very thought so prompted a simper to the Monarch's lips before a flicker of movement ahead of him so prompted Dorian's silver gaze to shift upward.

The very sight of a woman clad so entirely in black prompted a small yelp of surprise from the Monarch. Dorian, instinctively, clutched that bunny closer to his chest as if in some effort to protect the creature. How readily his heart near leapt in his chest. Dorian's mind taking but several moments to realise he knew this very intruder. Even if it had been some time since he had seen her last.

"Vhalla! For heaven's sake, why is it so you cannot use the front door? You've given me a terrible fright! I hope we have not woken Sebastian."

Dorian glanced but hurriedly behind him and toward his home as if near anticipating to see Sebastian appear within the doorway. The Monarch so determinedly attempted to slow his heartbeat before Sebastian became aware of it. His grip upon his rabbit loosening as his own figure relaxed. For as long as he had known her, Vhal had never quite seemed to master the mere notion of simply....knocking. Her desire to infiltrate his and Sebastian's home so evidently unbreakable and yet....he could so hardly deny he was pleased to see the woman. A simper, so at last, found its way to his lips. Dorian moved to cross that small space between them then.

"I have not seen you in a terribly long time, you look very well though. Have you come to visit? I would offer you tea but you have caught me quite unawares. It is very pleasing to see you though."
