Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The Sun Also Rises

Dorian's soft inquiry as to just exactly what sort of species his sibling was capable of transforming into was met with Aiden's insistence that he was hardly a Panther, but rather, a Jaguar. Dorian paused in that very act of car detailing then, only for his features to knit softly together in a clear contemplation. Was a Jaguar not a Panther? Perhaps what he had believed to be a black panther all these years was a Jaguar. Which still left the entire question as to what a panther was, if what he had believed to be a panther was, in fact, not it. How terribly fortunate it was that Sebastian was not here in this very moment! His husband had teased him terribly over that incident with the elephant. Dorian so having believed them to be notably smaller then they truly were. His efforts to draw for Sebastian his interpretation of a giraffe, hippopotamus and tiger had proven to be equally amusing to the vampire. Dorian so having learned that evening that animals had changed significantly since he last recalled looking at their pictures in those books the sailors had brought from the various new worlds they had been in the midst of discovering before Dorian had been all but robbed of the world entirely. It was the Monarch's sheer determination to draw his sibling appropriately that prompted the Fae King to sketch that slender black cat onto the floor before gesturing toward it. Dorian waited only so long as it took Aiden to inspect that preliminary drawing.

"This is correct, is it not? And you say this is called a Jaguar? What then is a panther? I have been calling this a panther nearly all my life. Although, it had come to my attention recently that my ability to name animals correctly is somewhat...misguided."

Dorian's head shook but slightly once more as the sound of Sebastian's laughter so readily filled his thoughts. The Monarch's attention was quick to return to the task at hand. Dorian so continued to work diligently on those lines. That blueprint of sorts so quickly taking place before the Fae King rose to step back. His query of just what his sibling thought of that veritable masterpiece was met with a near blank stare. That question of whether or not Aiden liked that work prompted an 'I guess' from the younger man as Dorian beckoned him to step further back before allowing the true depth of his own affinity to work. How quickly those lines took shape! That very surge of power within the room was so quickly followed by the emergence of that very car itself. It's deep, golden colour Dorian's preferred shade, those sleek lines and sharp looks so readily reminiscent of the very cars they had seen today and yet how decidedly custom that piece was all at once. That car unlike any other. One crafted so entirely at Dorian's own hand only to sit before them now. It was only once Dorian so declared that car complete that Aiden saw fit to stride forward, the Monarch watching on keenly as Aiden inspected it. His siblings opinion on cars, after all, was decidedly critical. Dorian so inclined to find he rather....desired his brothers approval. Aiden circled that car near silently. The Were paused at several places to examine Dorian's handiwork with care only to return to the front of the vehicle. The Monarch's inquiry on whether or not it would drive well was met with Aiden's assurance he hardly knew- before the realisation he had forgotten to draw keys, of all things, prompted Dorian to do just that.

It was only once those keys had been thusly materialized that the Fae King moved to offer them to his sibling. Dorian content to utter that insistence that he was...mostly sure that car would not explode. After all, he understood the basics of those engines. None of his other creations had manage to harm him in any fashion- surely this would not be any different, would it? That stark realisation of their possible demise seemed to prompt a near fierce reaction in Aiden all at once, that muttered curse followed by his brother abruptly dropping to his knees only to roll beneath that car. Dorian's own silver gaze widened by momentarily in alarm as the Monarch eyed his sibling with clear bemusement.

"Aiden, what on earth are you doing? You're going to get terribly dirty."

The state of his clothing, Dorian was so readily beginning to find, was so hardly a concern for his sibling. Just what Aiden was searching for Dorian so hardly knew. The Were content to emerge a moment later only to stride purposefully tothat hood. Aiden lifted the hood of the car with ease, his emerald gaze searching the engine and interior as Dorian so merely looked on curiously once more. Just what did Aiden hope to find? Was something missing? It was only once Aiden had finished his inspection that his gaze shifted to meet Dorian's own. His younger sibling promptly declared that he...suspected that the car would be entirely fine- but that perhaps it was best to test it at low speeds first. How very sensible. The Monarch nodded readily then as he moved toward that passenger seat, only to settle himself within that plush leather interior as Aiden settled beside him. His name upon his siblings lips prompted his attention toward his companion.

"Yes, Aiden?"

The Were King's request that he hold onto him was met with a near curious eye raise. Aiden, after all, was hardly one for....gestures of affection. His sibling was quick to explain such a thing was more a fail safe then some odd desire for affection. Dorian, in that moment, was so hardly unable to deny the sense of that request all the same. The Monarch's hand reached out to rest gently upon his siblings shoulder. Dorian afforded Aiden a nod to assure him he was ready before the Panther placed the key in the ignition- only for it to turn over seamlessly. A ready grin eagerly found Dorian's features then before he reached to gesture towards a set of wide double doors at the end of the garage.

"There is a sensor there, it will open as we approach. There is a road through the gardens we can take, there will be no staff on it at this time of day, we shall have it to ourselves."

How terribly eager he was to try out that car! Dorian so unable to prevent that grin that found his features as Aiden piloted that car forward.

"Aiden?"

Dorian's gaze shifted away from that window and toward his sibling. How terribly thankful he was to not have exploded.

"I find you very obscure- but I like you."
