Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

kissing death and loosing my breath
The look of aggravation was all too obvious upon the man's features at the sheer suggestion that he might have brought a sense of butterflies to her stomach. If she was more sensitive, she might have found his disinterest and silence as an offense. Rather, Serafina merely turned to busy herself with the task she'd given herself, trying not to dwell upon that look on his face. It was easy enough to lose herself in her meticulous crafting of her meal, hardly bothering to start any real conversation as she cooked. After all, Azrael had never really struck her as the particularly talkative type, never really seeming to enjoy many of the conversations despite the fashion at which she seemed insistent to press herself onto him. Nevertheless, a part of Serafina was surprised at the inquiry he had provided her with when dinner was completed, though not at all over the fashion at which he seemed to bark at her. It was almost as if the man had never had a cultured day within his life. Wasn't he supposed to be older than her? Didn't he lecture her over how she should be a lady? Her mouth parted, almost intending to point out such before she was faced with one simple word - yes.

She hadn't anticipated gleaning such a simple, nearly sincere answer from the man and so, in the moments of silence that followed afterwards, Serafina found herself simply watching him in surprise. He continued all too easily after a moment and slowly the witch's head bobbed ever so slightly. "After six." She responded, as if agreeing with him. Serafina hardly questioned his desired time, the thought not even crossing her mind that he might not want to be seen with her, as if she was some awful secret to hide. On the contrary, the girl had only considered that dates, as she so assumed this one was, tended to occur after hours. Maybe he wanted to show her something romantic? Like the sunset? Her stormy eyes glanced upwards at the man, one eyebrow raising ever so slightly at her inner thoughts. Yeah, sunset. Who was she kidding.

She finished her meal without any further question, letting the man take her empty plate from her and tend to the dishes. Frankly, Serafina had entirely expected that tending to the aftermath of her cooking would also be entirely left to her. After all, it was still a woman's job or some such nonsense wasn't it? Still, Serafina hardly protested, instead rising from her seat as his attention returned towards her. Her gaze shifted towards the window at his comment on the time though Serafina seemed hardly perturbed by the darkness that crept on the other side of the glass. She shook her head ever so slightly, "No, I'll be fine." She responded quite confidently, offering the man a small simper. "I will see you Thursday after six." She spoke softly, leaning forward and upwards to brush her lips against his cheek before turning to step out of the door and bounce down the stairs and disappear into the night.
