Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

It was that unnerving silence that plagued them in the moment that had caused the girl to pull back from him, instead choosing to occupy the silence with the mention of the gift she had bought for him. She'd had it in her purse for awhile now, the girl trying desperately to find the perfect moment to give it to him. She wanted the moment to be perfect, one that was filled with love. Raven had told her that the watch was one he wore frequently, though the fae girl had no idea if Aiden would really like the gift at all. It was the first one she'd offered up to him, and as such, it had to be some level of perfect. She was well aware of Aiden's eyes on her as she dug in her purse, glad that her back was to him so that he didn't see the momentary flush of her cheeks at the notion that she was entirely exposed to him. It shouldn't matter, of course, their relations this evening meaning he'd already seen her naked, and yet... And yet his actions had not entirely been his own then. She had no way of knowing how much of his mind she had influenced, or if he had even been too caught up in the lust that had overtaken him to even notice.

But now she was not influencing him at all. Now, his gaze that was steady on her would see her entirely, and against her better judgment she focused on him, waiting for some reaction. There was none, of course, his emotions as steadily blank as they usually were. How stupid she had been to not notice the flair in his emotions like that. It had been careless, and it would not happen again. That, she promised herself as she moved back towards him, crawling on the bed beside him before she placed the watch on his chest. Her nervous ramblings as to why she had chosen the gift caused a blush to rise in her cheeks. The faerie girl kept her eyes turned downward, avoiding her boyfriend's gaze as she spoke. She was relieved - remarkably so - when he reached out to pick up the watch, turning it over in his hands. He seemed interested enough, though she couldn't entirely tell if he was pleased or not.

The soft utterance of gratitude that left his lips caused the girl to look up, smiling just a little at him. "Of course," She said gently, reaching up to trace small patterns on his chest. Circles first, then squares and triangles and stars before she finally landed on small hearts. It was only the mention of his father that saw the woman pause. So it was an important watch, just like Raven had predicted. She offered him a small smile at his hesitance, offering him a nod. She wouldn't pry into his past life, just as he didn't pry into hers. She knew his parents were dead, a fact that she'd only learned from Nadya, though she knew little else. In turn, he knew nothing about what happened at any point in her life before those fey girls had gotten their hands on her. It was one thing she appreciated about him, that she could have her secrets, and she was more than happy to let him have his. "I'm glad you like it... Raven showed me what she remembered it looking like, we both thought it matched. But if it doesn't, I'm afraid you can't take it back," She couldn't help the teasing smile that appeared on her lips. "I'm afraid we uh... we stole it, a little. It's an interesting story, actually. If you'd like to hear it." The girl looked up, smiling at the man. "Raven stood up for me. I was rather proud, admittedly."
