South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South

There was absolutely no denying Edie anything once the young woman set her mind to something. The young fox had never been particularly good at hearing the word 'no'. In the case of going to hunt on her own, it was an absolute. She wanted to go running, wanted to be helpful, wanted to find her own food. And more than anything, she wanted to prove to the elders of his home pack that she was useful and could take care of herself. She knew his mother didn't think that she was good enough for him, or that she even compared to the wife that Kato had lost before. She wanted to be as beloved as her.

She knew Kato would protest to her desire to hunt, and it was that alone that had her shifting before his eyes. She was worried, briefly, that he may have caught her in the tangles of her clothes, but luckily she was faster than he was. She heard his protests, even knew that he was likely right, and yet she found she hardly cared. She darted out of his grasp as he fought to grab ahold of her small form, playing a bit with him before she rubbed against his leg in an affectionate gesture before she very well disappeared into the grass.

Finding the kids was decidedly easy to do. They weren't quiet by any means. Edie herself had been trained to hunt silently, to be as sly as the fox form she took on. The children were still too young to be able to shift on command without the help of the moon yet. After all, Edie had been nearly a teenager before she had mastered it completely. Edie kept a watchful eye on Mosi and Amare. She was amused by the way Mosi kept telling Amare to shush, even though neither child was particularly quiet in the moment. Still, she was well aware the instant their attention turned on her. Shit. They didn't know that she wasn't a rhino. They didn't know that she wasn't entirely prey. To them, she was the way they were going to get that candy, and she wasn't entirely surprised when they tried to catch her.

It was with that alone that she brought the shift, transforming back to her human self to regard the children. She let out a yelp as Mosi's hands clasped around her foot, and Amare's rock bounced off her back. "Hey, stop it," She called out, a frown on her features as she regarded the two children. She regarded Mosi most, knowing he would understand her. "I just want to hunt with you. I'm not sure where to go, so you're going to have to lead the way." She commented, assuring that the children understood her before she allowed herself to shift back once more. She darted off ahead of the kids, turning her head a moment later to assure they were still with her. She paused, letting them take the lead before she trotted after them, her eyes watching for anything she would be able to take for food.

She was unaware that the children were pushing the boundary - or even that there was a boundary at all. In fact, she didn't even realize that they had gone far at all until she heard the rustling behind them. She turned, ready to pounce on whatever was there in order to get herself her lunch. The food may have been good so far, but she was so incredibly eager for meat. She was unaware that it may have been dangerous, or that the kids had led her further than they should have.
