The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

It was peculiar really, the way this new found freedom so managed to tip Tetradore over the edge. The knowledge that the vampire woman whom had so once haunted his every steps was now gone was hardly the exhilarating release it should have been. Rather, it brought a whole new wave of insecurities and concerns for the man. It was as if, with Risque's death, he had somehow lost a piece of himself that he had once been so steadfastly certain on. He had innately known for a fact that, at one point, she would return to reclaim her treasured pet. This life he had built for himself was but temporary. One evening, though he hardly knew when, she would come to destroy it just for her incessant claim to him. In a fleeting moment he would cease to exist for all of those souls he surrounded himself with...except now, he wasn't going to. Now this was his eternity and there was something so startling about this revelation that had so threatened to overwhelm him. It was that which saw the ebony panther retreat more often than not from the Ark, seeking shelter in the solitary forests that lined the Southern border of the city.
There was something still and peaceful about those woods, something that helped calmed the anxiety that had lately invaded the man's soul. He could hardly deny that, in those moments, Tetradore understood the appeal mirrored within that peculiar Coyote whom he had met. It was easy to simply get lost within those woods. It was easy to exist as the beast he was, to focus his attention solely upon meeting those entirely feral desires for food and shelter and nothing more. Losing himself was so utterly tempting and yet, every night thus far he had still returned to that Ark, bound by some notion of responsibility. It was this very thing he so contemplated as his claws dug into the tree branch he had but momentarily taken up residence within. His hind legs crouched, propelling himself forward with noteable force as his ebony figure launched itself over a large gap only for his claws to dig into the bark of another tree, pulling himself upwards and higher in the fashion his feline species so took comfort within. He prowled within the darkness, his emerald gaze tracing the forest floor and yet, in truth, there was hardly any specific thing the feline was searching for.
A small sound to his right caused the large jungle cat to freeze, his head turning with his ears erect upon his skull. His emerald eyes narrowed as he picked up that same familiar sound again - it was one he had heard before and one he'd nearly immediately placed. The creature made his way a silent, predatory care from one tree to another, tracing a path from above towards the sound only for his emerald eyes to fall upon exactly what he had expected to find. How utterly curious. What were creatures as this doing way out here? For a moment, he lowered his figure to the solid oak branch beneath him, his gaze simply watching as the small critter toddled about with it's own designated purpose. There was one individual, he knew, who would enjoy this. One woman who might find some sort of peace in something such as innocent and yet...nearly cruel as this. He hesitated for a moment, battling with his wants and needs before giving into that singular feeling of responsibility. Those shadows so eagerly whipped to his frame, taking that already midnight hued creature far away from the forest and back to the warmth of the Ark in but seconds.
For a moment Tetradore shook out his fur, leaving the dirt and dust in the hallway of the Ark as his feet padded silently from the corridor that belong to the pack and out onto the platform he reserved for his own viewing pleasure. It hardly took long to find Raven amongst the crowd, her form assisting in the bets with Jackal in the way she so often did when Tobias took to the ring. The panther wasted no time, easily skirting around the crowd that parted for him as he made his way down towards her. There was not a word or sound that left his vocal cords, the man merely reaching up so that his teeth could catch onto her sleeve as he lightly tugged to get the woman's attention. A small motion with his head was all that was given before he turned on his feet, pausing to glance behind him and ensure she was following. He led her onto the platform of above before reaching at to pull at the lupine within her, clearly wanting the girl to shift.
