The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The idea that a pack might so live together, like a family, was one of great curiosity to the man. Such a set up reminding him so entirely of his own Court in a way. Many of those of high enough status lived within areas of the palace itself, gathering whenever it was so Dorian chose to grace the throne room with his presence else dictate some command or another. Indeed many families so chose to live at court and perhaps this Were society was much like it. The wealthy families seeking to match their own sons and daughters together in an effort to further their positions. Court life, after all, was a lavish affair- if not a decidedly political one. The blossom of pink that so adorned the woman's features was hardly missed by the ancient Fae as the silver of his gaze fell back upon her and yet, while endearing, the man was wholly used to such reactions from the women around him. Most, after all, were simply delighted to be within his presence and yet truly he doubted such was the case with the curly-haired creature before him. It was, indeed, far more likely the girl was simply shy by nature and any continued attention upon her so saw her embarrassment flare. This talk of Hunters, however, readily fixates his attention as the mere memory of them sees his features frown in disdain.
"It has been several centuries since anyone has tried to assassinate me. I should be displeased if these Hunters should be the same. I shall avoid them."
Diplomatic immunity, he is sure, does not extend to this Hunter Council and as such the man had little true belief he might be spared their apparent wrath should he so seek to meet the wrong sort. Why he might be so disliked for the simple nature of the way he was born he hardly knew and yet on this the man chose to ponder little. Such frivolous thoughts hardly ever achieved anything of merit. The basis of his companions name however was a decidedly more entertaining topic, the ever curious Fae so readily seizing upon the history of the words he is so presented with. Language, after all, is a favoured topic of the man, his lips pulled into the most delightful of simpers at the notion. Raven, however, hardly seems to know the origins of her moniker- his eyes widening slightly. Was nomenclature no longer a teaching in modern times? It is his question in regards to werewolves that so seems to bring a displeasure of sorts to the girls features, his silver gaze searching her own as she spoke- her words trailing off without true answer. It is a decided matter of impoliteness to press a woman upon her business and as such the man does not- though he wonders, truly, as to what she had left unsaid.
"If Werecreatures are as other animals then, it is as you say, I think. Wildness can be bred out, beasts made more tame and softened, though blood is unpredictable. The quietest of stallions and gentlest of mares might birth still- the wildest of colts. What is wild is always wild at it's core, what is wild is never made truly tame. It is merely made more patient. It waits."
His words are chosen with due care, offered softly before his head tilts ever so slightly to the side in consideration. Words offered once more.
"Perhaps you might consider hunting with me? Do you fancy to hunt? I kept the most wondrous of hounds once and while you are no hound I am still assured you might find me a deer."
Dorian is- wholly serious in this request, his gaze resting upon her before she asks after his own family, the man affording her the knowledge of it. After all, his own family could be read about just as easily as it could be told, Dorian having little to hide. The softest of simpers traces his lips once more at the woman's words, Raven it would seem, having misunderstood his explanation though this is surely his own fault. His own head shakes softly.
"Ah, you misunderstand perhaps, but the fault is my own, I have explained poorly. My Mother was indeed my Mother, and while it is so I called Ferdinand my Father he was not my true sire. He could not be, for I am Fae as you see and such the question upon my parentage. My Mother had an affair and I am the living proof of it. Ferdinand allowed my presence only because, he too, had fathered illegitimate children outside of my Mother. He could not cast out one son and lay claim to the others for a sin he too had committed. Ferdinand could not bear the sight of me. My true sire I never have met. I have my suspicions though."
