South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

It's almost like I can see the tiny little wheels spinning in his head as he tries to absorb what I'm saying about states and countries and stuff. I'm not quite sure if he understands at all but after a while, he gives a small simper and comments like he knows all about what I'm saying. I decide not to pursue it. It's probably not worth the headache anyway. I don't know what kind of upbringing he had in the fairy world. It could have been a lot different than mine. I'm curious to find out sometime. I like learning about all the different aspects of the fairy world and those in it. It's like reading a good book that I can't put down if I find someone willing to talk about it. I like learning about new experiences and ways of looking at things so I get all the perspectives, not just one. I listen to him but one name gains my full attention as I smile and nod.

"I know Sam! Ah...so you must be Dorian." I look at him with a knowing smirk now, hazel eyes twinkling with that "I know more about you than you know about me" look. When I go to get the starfish, I can see him shifting somewhere behind me, almost as if he's trying to put me between him and the waves. The idea is amusing, a smirk tugging at my lips as I return the starfish to the pool. When I tease him about being tasty, he seems to find pleasure in it, chuckling, before a troubling look crosses his face. He looks thoughtful and I wonder what that's all about but I won't pry, at least not this time. At his comment, I smirk. "I bet." I return the starfish and return to him, giving him my name. Something looks amiss on his features again before he covers it up before I can investigate. Finally he tells me to call him Dorian, which confirms my suspicions from earlier. I raise a brow as he continues, saying people don't know what else to call him. My head tilts in curiosity.

"Which way are you used to being addressed?" I can't help but ask. I can't help it, my curiosity gets the better of me. Dorian seems to take it all in stride but I notice all over again that his clothes is wet. "I guess you probably want to get a change of clothes." I offer as I run a hand through my hair. When he asks if I'm busy, I shake my head. "Nope, my schedule is free." When he asks for company, I smile and nod. "Sure, I'd like that."
