South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Edie had been within the Leeds airport exactly once before, on the day that she'd first ran away from her home. Now, as she navigated her way off the plane and into the inside of that terminal, she couldn't help but remember that day. She was sure she had looked so pitiful with her bruised arms and one backpack full of clothing and the way she had counted out coins to make a few pounds to get a coffee. How different such a short amount of time could have made. Her physical condition may have changed, and yet she was entirely still the same when it came to how terrified she was. She tried so hard to stand up straight and guide her companion through there. It wasn't until her eyes fell on the large windows and the rain that fell outside did a smile appear on her features. Oh, how England called to her even if she tried so desperately to flee it. It was that alone that had her turning within his arms to press a kiss to the lips of her boyfriend. The chuckle that escaped him was enough to make her grin. "I would hope so, my love."

She felt the man halt next to her as he seemed to have noticed for the first time that it was raining and overcast. She had tried to warn him about the cool temperatures and the freezing rain, and yet he had still dressed himself in a short sleeved shirt that would fail to keep him warm. As they stepped out of the heated terminal and onto that sidewalk, she felt the man shiver beside her. The inquiry of the sweater only made him grumble at her, an act that had the young woman rolling her eyes. "I tried to warn you. We'll get you more long sleeves, ones that won't be quite so confining." She paused then, pulling them both out of the way so that she could tug their bag down off his shoulder. She knelt down then, digging through it until she found the sweater in question. She handed it to him, barely waiting for him to pull it on before she was handing that bag back to him and so taking his hand.

"We'll have to take a bus to the train station, but it would be smarter if we stop and get you some new clothes," She commented as she took his hand, pulling him down the sidewalk and towards the line of buses that would so get them where they were going. It was his mention of finding the train that had her on edge. She wanted to hide within Leeds and keep herself safe, and yet there had been a purpose for this trip. She would have to go home eventually. She pulled him over to that bus, easily handing over a few bills to pay the fare before she led them to some empty seats to sit beside him. The girl seemed unable to sit still or keep from fidgeting with pieces of her clothing. She reached over to take the man's hand, pushing her fingers between his.

"I always loved the weather here," She commented, her mind working to distract herself and also distract him from the motion sickness he would be feeling as soon as the bus lurched off the curb. "I know it's not your thing, but I always preferred the cold." She leaned her head against the man's shoulder, curling her body into his. "Are you nervous about meeting my family? My pack? My..." She hesitated then, unsure how to ask of how he was handling the information that she had given him on the plane. She raised those green eyes of hers to Kato's, sighing softly. "I feel like we should talk about it before we get there."
