South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

Dorian AragonaHis Royal Highness

That delicate, feminine voice that so finds his mind sees the silver of his gaze drift down and towards that now lifeless rabbit, the wolf seeming decidedly proud of her efforts and perhaps rightly so- his gaze seeking those puncture wounds with a nod of approval. Ah, but what a fine hunting dog she would have made! Perhaps still would make, though indeed the man so struggles not to associate the young woman with a pet hound as he once would have. Dorian instead holding out his hands for the prize. The Monarch remains so distinctly unaware of the internal battle that so rages within the wolf and her animalistic desire to keep that kill for herself, his spoken praise unknowingly resulting in the wolf seeming to soften before handing it to him but a moment later. That small, still-warm body had been within his hands for barely a few moments when it begun to stir, his own silver gaze widening slightly at the light that seemed to surrounded it, seen only by his own eyes, a wave of feeling almost akin to nausea seeming to pass over him a moment before all such thoughts are dismissed in the moments the rabbit suddenly lurches back into life. It is instinct alone that sees the man attempt to cling to it, panic readily slipping into his voice, the wolf somehow having failed to kill it properly despite the puncture wounds within its neck that even he himself had seen. The rabbit lunges free but a moment later, Dorian stumbling away from it with a look of utter horror, shock so registering upon his features as he seeks to bring himself closer to the wolf as if she might, somehow, protect him from the undead rabbit.

The sudden, panicked voice that enters his mind hardly seems to calm his own fractured nerves, the Fae King so eyeing that animal still as it hopped about as alive as it had been but moments ago and yet...those punctures wounds in its neck remained. In all his years he had never seen anything quite like this, the very notion that it was by his own hand had hardly occurred to him, Dorian far to terrified in this moment to allow his own thoughts to focus, words unable to find their way to his lips despite the amount that seemed to stumble upon his tongue. He is sure, entirely so, that this is not his doing, the wolf girl surely mistaken and yet he can do little more other then watch in that moment before Raven so seemed to react, turning her head back towards him in evident confusion and assurance that the rabbit was dead and yet....lived.

"I don't.....I......I have never seen this before."

It is all he can truly manage in that moment, his mind turning rapidly as he remains behind the wolf all the same. Rabbits, after all, were her natural prey. Surely she was capable of keeping it at bay should it seek to exact some sort of revenge upon them. Was this perhaps what this was? Was this rabbit some unholy reincarnation? An act of God? It has been years since Dorian has so considered God in any sense, even despite his own role within the church of his homeland and yet here and now he finds such thoughts playing upon his mind. A sound of surprise forces itself free of his lips the moment Raven lunges back towards that undead creature, grasping it within her jaws, Dorian turning his gaze away as she so flung it side to side in a desperate effort to rip the life from it once more. It was almost as if he could feel that life leaving it, as if he could feel it disappearing, running from its body like blood, that golden light seeming to flare before fading rapidly. Some part of him almost desiring to stop it before it is so entirely gone. That rabbit left entirely in shadow, that light having vanished into nothing as Dorian simply stares.

"I didn't mean to. I don't know how I did, I have never done that before."

His words are hurried, nervous and anxious even as he allows his gaze to find that lifeless body once more, the man not nearly bold enough to so attempt to reach for it again lest he somehow awaken it a second time. His gaze returning then to Raven, one hand running through the dark of his hair, the other turning about that gemstone about his neck in contemplation as his thoughts continued to afflict his mind with so many possibilities as to explain this. He knew of powers, he knew of those whom possessed them. He himself possessing two and yet this was surely not one of them.

"I do not think it was me, it cannot be. I do not possess that sort of power."

His words are as truthful as he knows them to be, Dorian assured that this was not one of his abilities in any sense of the word, uncertainty tainting his voice all the same as he moved to seat himself back upon a fallen log, hand resting upon that mossy surface as he continues to watch the rabbit- gaze moving from it to Raven and back again. It is that sudden feeling once more that sees the man suddenly sit more upright, confusion touching his features before his hand jerks suddenly away from that log- flowers so having sprung from the very place he had touched, those small, neat, pink petals blooming still across the log.

"Oh my, did I...? I am not entirely assured I feel well."

The words are barely free of his lips, the world very near seeming to blur but a moment later, one hand lifting now to his head, the Monarch shaking it softly in an effort to clear it. Dorian so oblivious to the grass beneath his feet and the manner in which it was rapidly beginning to die while those flowers seemed bloom only brighter all at once.

"That glowing is hurting my eyes."
