South
The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park
Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
The Outskirts
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

I guess Frost was right. It is harder than I thought to hold onto the confidence I fought so hard to cultivate in my time away from Sacrosanct. Now here I go falling back into old habits, becoming shy and reserved and having to cling to other more confident people to boost my own self esteem. Pathetic. I need to get myself together. Maybe some alcohol is just what I need. I tilt my head in interest as she says that she's going to teach me how to wrap Alexander around my finger. It's hard to imagine him wrapped around anything, let alone me. I smirk. "I guess I didn't really think commitment was possible for us. I thought it was just a fling before the other day." I think back to that moment in his loft when he stroked my cheek and asked about our future, what we were. I never knew men were the ones to ask for a definition of the relationship. I'd always thought it was the girl who talks emotions and wants to define what you are but he's so straightforward. It's obvious he's used to getting answers. I giggle when she says that she's going to show me how Kato is wrapped around her own finger. "I can imagine." I agree as I get out of the cab behind her, not masking the way my gaze travels appreciatively up her figure. Even as a shy werefox in my home pack, I never put a label on where my attraction led me. Male or female, all can be beautiful and alluring and Edie is no different. She's powerful in the fact that she knows she's beautiful. I want to have that kind of power too. I willingly take the drinks offered, downing them as fast as I can until I feel the warming sensation in my stomach. I tilt my head when she tells me what it's called. "But it's not sour." I find myself saying even as I giggle and take another sip. I watch as she takes a tray of shots, my eyes widening a little at the thought of drinking so many tiny glasses. Will that really get me drunk faster even though there's so much smaller quantities? I follow her to the booth and sit down across from her, watching as she separates the shots. I see the wicked grin, calculating accordingly at her question before I answer with a daring grin of my own. "I guess I am tonight." I grab for a shot even as she does, watching the way she downs it before I mimic her. I've never done shots before so I wanted to make sure I don't look like a total idiot. At her next comment, I swallow the shot down with a grimace before giggling. "Don't have to tell me twice." I go through the next two shots in double time like I'm in a race. By the time I'm putting the third glass down, I feel a lot less....well, anything really. The room is spinning only a little and I definitely feel warm and fuzzy. But I know something I want to do. "Let's dance!" I exclaim with excitement as I grab the table corner to stand and reach for her hand. |
