South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Way back when the supernatural world first existed there was a time when Weres and Vampires lived together. One species was in a lofty position while another was forced to suffering the grueling tasks their 'owners' bestowed upon them. It was ingrained deep within their own instincts that one wouldn't be so kind to the other. There were legends of Vampires still controlling various assortment of packs, some wolves, other big cats, even snakes. After suffering turmoil of centuries being controlled by their blood-quenching masters, it was only natural that a Were would see any and all vampires as a threat. The she-wolf was well aware that Isolt was not one that had lived centuries under the belief that she had the right to control herself, as a pet or a servant, but she could not help but see the ginger woman as an enemy. Seeing the girl wallowing in self-pity didn't necessary dampen the idea that she could not be a threat. She was a vampire and she could very well harm her if she wanted to. Though truly she didn't think the newborn would ever do such a thing, but that was just it, she was a newborn. She was reckless and dangerous and without her creator around she was a problem. What's worse she had no idea just how many threats she would come across. There were Weres and Warlocks that despised and hated Vampires so much that just on sight they would attack, even worse the Dark Hunters. There was one particular Dark Hunter that she recalled and she couldn't help but give a soft growl, really they had no business to stay out here in the woodlands with that demon roaming around.

One grey ear twitched as the tearful apology was choked out. Carefully she would approach the girl watching warily as the girl brought her hands up to cover her mouth. It was difficult for the she-wolf to control the need to eliminate the threat she saw in front of her, but she would force herself to see that the bloodstained woman was only an innocent girl that didn't follow her own advice the last time she saw her in the park. Even though her thick black and grey pelt was meant to endure in these harsh conditions, the thick coldness of the rain with the cold storm wind still created a small shiver to run down her spine. Whimpering softly she would get on her belly attempting to show the girl that she was no threat as she crawled through the mud her tail swaying side to side as she let out a muffled bark of encouragement watching the woman attempt to retract her fangs. Her head would tilt upwards when she heard the click noticing how smooth her teeth now looked without those creepy fangs sticking out. She would stop her crawling on her belly towards the woman as soon as she was only a few inches from the girl. A very soft voice would enter the girls mind carrying with it a sympathetic tone.

"And why would I want to do that?"

She was hardly going to allow the woman to continue being a sitting duck in these woods. Slowly she would get up on her four paws and gently press her furred form against the woman, continuing this until the girl stopped wrapping herself in her arms. Giving a soft whimper she would nuzzle the girl gently with her cold nose, blue-grey eyes looked to the soft blues of the other. With a slow wag of her soaked tail she would curl herself around the woman, gently licking her arm, as if she were nothing more than a dog comforting her. With the vampire not showing herself as a threat she was rather quite calm being this close in her presence. Ignoring the woman's protest to leave she would lie her head along her curled legs poking her gently with her cold nose. A firmer, but kind words would reach the newborn attempting to console her as best as she could.

"You need someone...and I don't see anyone else around."
