South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
She was fairly certain they were going to die. Okay, so it was like a 92.42918406% chance that they were going to die. And yet, despite her certainty of her impending DOOM, she still found herself nestling into the safety of his jacket. Ha. Safety. That's funny. She knew she should have abandoned him, after all, the men were after him weren't they? They hardly knew of her existence, much less what she was to him (which was like....nothing?). And yet, despite that knowledge that she should have escaped from what she was certain was a fall to be squished against the concrete, she still found herself curling into the warmth of his body, one that certainly hadn't been there before - not that she had really terribly noticed in the first place. Okay, so maybe his pretty face was making her willing to risk everything but, it wasn't like she particularly wanted to deal with the men on his tail on her own either. Nope! Best to stick with him!!! And so she was! Her hazel eyes glanced upwards at him as he commented on what her intent was. Frankly, she still hadn't decided if she trusted him to make that leap either. Well, maybe best to say nothing at all then. People had certainly done crazy things with just the sheer notion that others believed in them. Maybe if she just...let him think she had complete faith in him, then they might survive. That was plausible right?

In fact, she was just considering how possible this was from a mathematical point of view when that shout interrupted her thoughts, her head shifting ever so slightly, not that she could glance at the men chasing them to begin with. Perhaps it was better to simply...close her eyes...? She could feel his body lurch as he tried to gain traction on that wet surface. They were going to die. They were going to die. They were so going to die. And then, before she knew it, there was weightlessness. Her gaze fluttered open as she peeked into the darkness below and then - omg that wall was coming fast. Omg. Omg. BRICK TO THE FACE. NOOOOOO. THUD. Ouchiesssss. She could feel that impact as his body slammed into the wall on the other side, her own voice squeaking at the impact and yet, any damage Abigail took was relatively miniscule, her tail simply getting caught between the man and the wall. Even that, she was assured, must have been nothing to the pain that he/i>felt. Hell, she could hear that sound through his gritted teeth as he muttered, clearly trying to keep his purchase. Still - would this be enough to make those chasing him give up? And could he make it up there? What if they fell?! Ahhhh, this hanging thing was just so stressful.

Still, this was perhaps the one time in which Abigail did have the utmost faith he could get them up and over that ledge. Come on! Up, up, up! No. Stop looking at her with those stupid pretty eyes. Look UP! CLIMB UP. Oh god, he was lowering them. They were going down. Why were they going down? She could feel his body struggling though with what, she wasn't sure. Her small head popped out from beneath the folds of his jacket to glance down at what had so captured his attention, entirely surprised to find a ledge. Well that was unexpected. That was a small goal to aim for...could they do it? And even if they could, wasn't that someone's home? Slowly, Abigail squeezed shyly downward into his jacket as he half stumbled into the open window. Oh gawd. She was pretty sure that her cheeks would have been turning red right now if she was in her human form. Her small nose was all that was peeking out from that hoodie, entirely content to hide away from those staring eyes.

Thankfully, Arlo hardly seemed all that willing to stay for very long either and soon enough the pair were out the front door and Abigail found herself finally able to simply relax. A soft sigh left her lips, her small ears tilted backwards before she glanced up at the man in front of her, nuzzling into his chest in her own way of informing him he'd done a fairly decent job. He had gotten them out of that situation with the scary men and the staring family. That was a utter relief. Still, Abigail was painfully aware of his silence now that they were in the quietness of the elevator, just as she could too could hear the thrum of his heart in his chest and the blood pumping heavily through his veins. Who were those men? What did they want with him?! Why?! Too many questions and she was relatively certain she wouldn't get any answers whatsoever. Those elevator doors slid open and immediately, Abigail's hazel eyes turned to face whatever challenge now presented them. She, like her companion, hardly expected the garage the pair stumbled into, much less cars far fancier than anything she had ever seen resting in front of them. Woah. Prettttyyyy.

It seemed as if he agreed with her, that whistle seemed to echo in the cement garage. His words, however, caused her eyes to glance upwards with rather big eyes. Her...choice? She'd never gotten to pick something so pretty before! So many choices! So many! Her gaze shifted around her before Abigail's singular paw reached out to point to one specific car. It was hardly as flashy as all the others - instead sleek and black. It was something perfect to get by unnoticed from their pursuers, something to blend into the night. That one worked right? But now the question was, what were they going to do with it?
