South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Archer Faxfair
457 years - Fae - Male - Hawethorn Village

So another week had come and Archer had not completed his side of what needed to be done. The curse laid upon him had not faded over the centuries of life. Not that he expected it to, really, for a fae's curse was permanent unless the one who cursed him weakened or was killed. Such a thing was never likely to happen. Each time it came around he fought it, his heart laden with the weight of hundreds and thousands of lives taken. It didn't matter that they were animals - rats, squirrels, lizards - only that they were living creatures and that their essences were what sustained him. If only he was strong enough to depart this plane of existence. To go beyond. Once, as a human, he had believed in a God above. Now after countless horrors and unspeakable wars, he wasn't certain yet if he believed anything.

It had passed his mark to take the life and blood needed to survive. He likened himself to a vampire at times yet he understood their plight. At least they did not have to kill. His curse required death as part of the sealing deal. He let the hours drag on into night and with each ticking minute felt himself weakening. His face had begun to take on a sharp look as his body withered on itself for it had been days since he was due for his meal. With a lusty sigh he left his home in Hawethorn heights and made his way south, to Hyde park. He liked the name, likening himself to Jackel and Hyde. He hated violence and yet there was a side of him that was forced to commit it.

It is only due to his weakness that he does not sense the other fae. He typically avoided others of his kind for he didn't really consider himself fae. In his heart he was still human, albeit more jaded than most. Even closer he identified to a vampire. So he walks with his hands stuffed into his black jeans, his dark blue hoodie pulled up over his head as he opens his hearing to search for the heartbeat of a rat or small creature but instead he hears a crash and a groan.

Archer spins around, blue eyes locking onto the woman who lays sprawled on the pavement. Concern washes across his pinched features and he pulls his hands from his pockets and hurries towards her as she rolls over pulling her knees up. He can see blood staining her pants and hear the pain in her words. "Ma'am, are you alright?" He feels a twinge of discomfort in his stomach as it rebels, his body craving blood to fulfill his curse, so much so that he doesn't even recognize what she is up close. "Can I help in any way?" His roots were of one of chivalry. To abandon her now would be against his nature.
