South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

He's almost too curious about me and why I'm alone and naked in a van in the middle of a night. I don't know what's normal for a human to be doing and what's not since I've only ever seen them pointing a gun at me or walking their foo foo dogs around in the park. I don't know how to interact with humans besides growling so this is a whole different experience for me. My first time talking to a human and I have a feeling I'm fucking it all up.

He seems surprised when I keep asking what his motivation is behind helping me. Is this really a normal thing, for humans to help other humans? Who'd have thunk? I tilt my head, listening as he says there's no strings attached. Quickly I check my arms and legs. No, I don't see any strings. I scowl and shrug. "None that I can see anyway." I agree. He says that he doesn't think the assholes will be nice to me and I look down, rubbing my arm sheepishly. I know he's right. They'll torture me, kill me, who knows what all they do to Weres?

He looks about ready to say screw this and go back to wherever it is he came from. I guess I better do something to turn this around. I don't want to be out here alone with those guys. I mean, I'm sure I could take them but I am injured. I have that to think about.

He says that they're called assholes in a sense and I nod, remembering that for later. I furrow my brows at him when he says he doesn't like seeing innocent people get hurt. The thought of me being innocent is enough to make me laugh. I make it as far as a smirk that I have to bring my hand up to cover before I choke the laughter down. Okay, probably not the best way to make him think he can help me. Taking on a serious expression, I nod again. "Okay, okay, I get it. You get a gold star for helper of the year. I'm just not used to it, my bad." That's the closest he's going to get if he's looking for an apology. I've never been good about saying sorry.

I scowl again when he says that I'm making it difficult for him to help me. I guess I am being a jerk. I'm just so confused. At least he admits that he's taking me to his den. That sounds safe. He sighs and says that I need to learn the world's not out to get me and there are decent people out there. I furrow my brows again. "Well I'm new to this whole human thing. I've never met a human before, let alone learned about one. All I know of humans is death so that's my excuse."

He turns to walk away and I sigh, taking a deep breath before I hobble to keep up. "Hey, wait. Look, I know I'm not making this easy. I do want your help, if you're still up to show me that not all humans are bad." I shrug and look at my feet where I shuffle in the dirt, waiting for his answer.
