Her rage only seems to press further upon him. Irritating him in turn. The boy distinctly aware of the emotions of others even when he failed to understand them. Her rage and sorrow so burning within that pack bond until it pressed heavily upon him and sent his own tail lashing about. It is in an attempt to sure her that Tetradore is truly gone that sees him dare to press that power upon her, to show her that the leadership of that pack had passed to him in the moments Raven and Alexis and Samantha had so bowed down to him- though whether she too planned to remain he hardly knew, hardly comprehended, the female panther turning upon him in a hiss and spit of fur that he fails to understand is an act of grief and not of war. He hardly cares for her refusal to submit, after all, it is not dominance he so seeks to install upon her now, that pack bond that connected her to him, to them, to each in turn was fragile...weak....even he, with his fractured mind, understood the how feeble it was and yet why remained elusive to him. The female feline stood taller then, his own form reacting in turn, pulling himself upright in that delicate balance that seemed to exist between them as it always had. Peace between the pair eternally illusive if only for the fact neither would concede to yield to the other. Nadya by right of blood and Tobias simply by right of his own entitlement in some sense.

That moment is decidedly tense, Tobias daring enough to bare his teeth towards her though it is a weakened threat at best, his own aggression so spiked by that emotion that existed all about him, pressed upon him, confused him and so resulted in a near constant state of frustration that danced upon the surface of his ever volatile personality. It is a warning and little else, Tobias entirely content to brawl with the girl here and now if she continued to berate him with those goading words. It is her query as to where her brother is that so seems to distract him however, his head softly tilted, his powers extended in search of both his favoured companion and too that white stallion. Offering Nadya that information she had asked for in the only way he knows how, his words stumbling and tripping even within his mind as he presses them upon her. Her declaration that he made no sense results in little more than a blank stare, Tobias so failing to understand the statement, his desire to return to the Ark, to protect that space pressing back upon him and yet still those ears pricked forward in response to the words she uttered.

That she would deal with Frost for Tetra, not for him, is met with another blank look- Tobias so failing to comprehend the barb she so sought to spike him with, the boy incapable of so processing an emotional response on that level, failing to see it was an act of spite, in some sense, upon the part of his 'sister'. The use of that word 'brother' alone seeming to result in some response as those golden eyes regard her still.

"Tobi is....brother too."

He was, to his mind in the least. They had been raised together after all. The boy having learned that phrase in his mere infancy some part of him seeming to....remind her of that all the same. The boy, deranged as he surely was, was perhaps hurting just as much as she even if his fractured mind so failed to display it. The woman's sudden declaration she would leave seeing his tail lash once more, head shaking as he pressed closer towards her.

"Nadya....not leave.....cannot....take Tetra....Tetra gone away.....but will...come back. I...protect pack.....for him."

That Tobias has so entirely failed to comprehend Tetradore's death to its fullest extent is surely clear now. His words, again, failing to make sense entirely as he so declares Tetradore would 'come back' and that until he did Tobias was determined to guard that pack. Nadya shifting away from him all the same, those Spanish words more readily understood as she spoke of these eyes.

"Frost sólo tiene un ojo para dar."
(Frost has only one eye to give.)

What on earth such a thing meant remained to be seen, the boys words suddenly seeming to piece together without stumble, yet it lasted barely a moments, Tobias making no effort to stop her as his own tawny form lifted to go the opposite way. She would not come with him and he would not go with her. Tobias determined to return to that pack. Those final words so at last seeming to display some understanding.
"Be...careful.....Sister."
