The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Happily the uniquely colored lupine was tearing through the woods at the highest speed she could muster. She was a distance runner, and it was easy for her to find her pace and rhythm and lock it down. Grey paws slammed into the ground as her ebony form weaved between the trees, blue-grey eyes widen in alertness, as her ears twitched. Tossing her dial upwards she inhaled the scent, following that of her mate, determined to find him. One of his favorite games was Hide n Seek, and although he had the power to find her instantly, she wanted to find him in record time with her nose. With a joyous bark she warned her spotted companion that she was coming, and oh she was coming fast! As she took in another whiff of the cold air, she caught the familiar scent of something metallic...like blood. Suddenly the lupine shifted and slowed down, coming to a hard stop. Concerned she whimpered softly unsure where the scent was coming from and who's blood it belonged to. She reached out mentally to her companion her voice filled with worry, hoping the blood didn't belong to him.
Cautiously she followed the scent, keeping her movements swift, but silent. Eventually she would come up towards the edge of the woods that led to an open field. Grey-trimmed ears folded backwards in discomfort, not liking the fact that whatever was bleeding was somewhere in there. It wasn't safe to walk out in the opening without any cover. Using the shadows she managed to have them swirl around her as she ran, pinpointing towards the scent, noticing it was getting stronger meaning she was getting closer. Eventually she made it near a pond, blue-grey eyes widen as she watched an ivory canine, its coat muddy and dirty, fall to the ground. She could hear the terrible whine come out of the creature. Her dial swung left and right, looking for the reason as to why the canine would be down. The shadows would uncover her as she inched closer, whimpering softly as her cold nose gently pressed into the dog's muzzle. Gently she nudged her, a soft voice pressing into Atticus' mind.
