The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

That trip to New York was far too short for Sterling's preferences, soon enough they'd be returning back to Sacrosanct with his job demanding his attention and less time to spend at his boyfriend's side. He had enjoyed every moment of that trip and yet, his lover's joy that morning was decidedly infectious. He knew Henry was particularly excited about this evening and that, in turn, certainly served to make the whole prospect of leaving that home away from home a bit easier upon the warlock. The packing of their bags was the boy's primary focus, at least for the moment, several keepsakes buried within those few clothes he was particularly fond of. It hardly took all that long really, though Sterling had definitely poured over those little plants, so struggling with what to take and what to leave behind, even if their housekeeper had proved to be quite the astute at tending to his little garden. Nevertheless, before he knew it, the man was forced to say goodbye to their flat, his plants, and, perhaps more difficult of all, that bird he'd taken such a liking to. With Henry's help, he soon found himself in the backseat of a cab, the pair slowly making their way towards the docks and, in turn, leaving the city behind them once again.
His own eyes remained trained upon the city that surrounded him, simply watching the world pass him by with a peculiar sense of sadness at leaving that world they'd once both loved behind them. Still, they had made a new life together in Sacrosanct and that was worth something, wasn't it? Sterling hardly had a moment to even breathe when he stepped out of the cab before his lover's hand was fitted into his and he was quite literally pulled onto the boat. A glimpse of surprised crossed his features and yet, he hardly argued, instead simply eying that yacht with awe and, once on it, taking in the sight of the ocean in front of them and the luxuriousness of the boat itself. His bright blue eyes took in the sight of those numerous cabins he could only assume they would share the boat with, even if he had yet to see a single soul beyond the staff upon the ship. He hardly questioned it, however, simply letting Henry pull him to the end of that hallway and into that glorious room. "Oh...wow." He muttered softly, as they stepped in, the boy simply taking in the beauty of the room around him. The windows that lined one wall would certainly serve to be breathtaking in the hours to come, hell, the sight of the ocean in front of them already astounded him. "It's lovely Henry..." He uttered, following his companion as his lover made his way into the room.
The prospect of clothes purchased just for this evening certainly caught the man's attention, his eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly as Henry pulled those articles out of the closet only to present them to him in turn. This was certainly unexpected. "We're going to be all swanky, arn't we?" He commented, a teasing hint to his tone and yet, Sterling hardly minded this unexpected turn of events. A warm simper crossed his features as Henry's gaze but briefly met his own and yet, he hardly lingered long. Instead, Sterling reached up, peeling that shirt from his figure, replacing it but moment's later with that white button down shirt his lover had purchased for him - one that fit astonishingly well. God, he could only imagine how much Henry had spent upon him. This was probably the most expensive article of clothing he owned. Still, tonight, he knew well, was going to be special - for more reason then just one. Henry wasn't the only one with plans for their evening.
