The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Armore clad, diseased and mad From the canyons of hell Climb the walls to desperate calls Stede sat crouched upon the thick branch of a massive oak, deep in the heart of the forests just outside the city. It is in this place, where most Were-Creatures and the more vile of the Vampires conducted their dirty work. And tonight, he was hot on the heels of his next target. He'd tracked the Vampire for several weeks now, after coming across the first slain body of one of his numerous victims laying crumpled against a dumpster, just out of sight from the central metropolis. It had been a young call girl. Barely 18 years of age... practically a baby. A string of mostly women, and some young boys came after that. Their bodies mutilated and left audaciously out in the open for anyone to run across. So far Stede had tallied 13 bodies, but who knew how many he'd done in before now? How many had the Berserkir failed to find? He wasn't about to let this living corpse get away so easily. He'd purposely stalked the Vampire at close range. Following him straight back to his lair and on several occasions depositing the bodies of his victims on his own doorstep. It must have unnerved the beast, for he'd now started taking greater precautions, luring his victims into the forest to desecrate them. And now Stede was closing in. The massive Ursine man was perched as still and silent as a gargoyle. Bare-chested, the wind lapped at his exposed flesh and licked across the ugly scars that riddled his pecks, forearms, shoulders and back. Strapped to his back was his quiver of arrows. His fingers toyed with the pummel of his longbow, ready at any moment to retrieve one of the deadly silver-tipped arrows for when he prey finally showed itself. The Grolar's inner Beast lusted for blood, roaring in his head to be unleashed, to hunt and kull the walking cadaver with all the brutal carnage that even the Nosferatu could ever hope to comprehend. But Stede remained in his human form, content to use a less messy form of eradication. Suddenly, there is a whisper of movement down below. A riffle of silver through the pools of shadow and shafts of moonlight. A Single arrow is drawn and set to the bow. Feather fletching is pulled taught against the string, drawn eye level to the stark, merciless gaze of the Bear. He waits for the opportune moment... and then.... *Zing* The Arrow shoots straight for his target, as fleet as any bullet. In a ponderous moment he will know if he has made a direct hit.
