South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Dorian at least seemed happy enough to see him and that gave him some hope. And he hoped that he would have some information for him on Sam. He just needed closure in a way. He was all in it with Amelia and that wasn't going to change but if anyone would know anything about why Sam disappeared, it would be Dorian. He was her second in command and her roommate after all. He noted that Dorian waved away the bartender when he came over. He raised a brow in question but didn't say anything. He guessed Dorian just wasn't thirsty. Dorian seemed dismayed that Sam hadn't told him anything before she left but he was probably just putting it down to the death of her Were boyfriend. No, Troy knew it was more than that. She was healing from that, with his support. He had stayed there with her and held her head while she cried on him again and again. He had listened to her rant and vent and held her till she fell asleep many a night. She was coming around. She was starting to smile again. And then she'd left. But that wasn't Dorian's problem so he wasn't going to bring it up. If Dorian wanted to believe she left because she was grieving that loss then who was he to take that closure away from him?

He shrugged when Dorian apologized for not telling him sooner.

"It's alright. I figured you were busy. Didn't know if the court was still in business or not but I thought if it was, you would be the one picking up the pieces. I told her that I would be a part of it but I didn't know what that meant with her gone. I guess you could tell me that."

He decided to change the subject to the court since at least they could get answers on that. Instead Dorian asked what he had been up to so Troy was going to skip right to the good stuff. He could tell him all about his previous hunts and how he hadn't found word on any of the hunters that tried to kidnap him yet but he had met Amelia, a vampire of all things, and now they were in love and he had just found out she was pregnant. It would be a long story so instead he just skipped right to the rich part. The fact that he was actually going to have a kid now. He could tell Dorian was shocked. Oh boy, he should have known Dorian would think he'd done something so foolish as jump into marriage or something. He chuckled instead and shook his head.

"Thank you but I'm not married. Not yet, I guess. It's actually a funny story. You see, I met someone, a vampire actually. Her name is Amelia. She's amazing, Dorian."

His eyes lit up when he talked about her. Only she could do that to him.

"We've been, uh, seeing each other for the past few months. It was going great but then she started acting all sickly and well, not immortal. We called up the doctor and turns out...somehow she was able to become pregnant! Can you believe that? It's like I have magic semen or something. Can't say I've ever had that happen but then I've never really had 'relations' with someone and not worry about protection before Amelia."

He stared off across the bar, still in shock himself about it. He didn't care who overheard. He was just venting to a friend, after all. He looked back at Dorian, wondering what he thought about it. He knew it was a big deal for more Fae to have a child but that was between two fae when an heir was needed. He wasn't planning on it to happen or anything but he wasn't upset that it had for some weird reason. Dorian at least seemed to happy for him.

"Um, pretty soon actually. Apparently since she's a vampire, the child is growing fast so we're expecting it within a month and a half roughly. Not a lot of time to get stuff prepared, really. Yeah, it's my first. First that I'm aware of anyway."

He chuckled at the end, though on a note, he was completely serious. He had always been careful and used protection in the past though so surely nothing had slipped through the cracks. Hopefully he wasn't supernaturally fertile or something like that. Apparently there were possibilities. Who else could say they got a vampire pregnant of all things?
