South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South
i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Bringing Vhalla towards their side of the ice wasn't difficult at all. Keeping her upright on the ice, without falling, was the difficult part. The difficult part was contemplating whether or not she should continue providing the witch assistance, of any kind at all. She had offered her hand to offer the girl a chance to hold onto something, but when she reused her offer to help, she didn't see there was any reason to offer anything else. Seeing the white-haired witch struggle to keep herself upright did muster a bit of sympathy, but when the woman grabbed her arm, when she touched well that triggered the girl to yank her arm roughly away. She didn't offer Vhalla permission to touch her. Ignoring her glare she returned her focus back upon her companion as she began to explain how her she was wrong and was surprised by the girl's sudden anger against Catholics. Baffled by this sudden angst against a group of religious zealots that believed in transubstantiation, she was rather curious to understand why Serafina seemed so troubled by them in the first place.

"Someone apparently hates Catholics...they killed your kind, stole your holidays, but what word did they steal? Pope? What has a Catholic ever done to you? Throw holy water at you?"

There was a slight curve of her lips, almost a small smirk, as the lupine envisioned some crazy nun, brandishing a wooden cross as a shield, and throwing a vial of holy water to the raven-haired woman. It was rather an amusing vision. It was true the Catholics had done a terrible thing to witches. What with the whole hunting and torturing thing, it all just wasn't very good. Not to mention proclaiming their damnation and exterminating their kind. Of course her kind wasn't scathed by those that tethered themselves to religion. Those that were excommunicated from the Catholic Church were said to be cursed and turned into werewolves. Hell there were some villages within some European countries that hunted them, and destroyed real Weres or those falsely accused of being one. The idea of Catholics and their hate for those the deemed unholy or damned was brushed aside as Serafina began to get after her, for her dislike of being called a dog. Quietly she listened to the witch berate her. Sure, dogs were dumb and capable of developing a relationship with others...but that was just it...they'd do that to anyone that treated them kindly or fed them. Wolves weren't like that. Wolves were far nobler and wiser. It should take dedication and time for a bond to be created, and it took work to strengthen it. This conversation was best to have without others listening, so she responded, her voice quite soft and gentle as she politely tried to explain herself.

"I'm part wolf Sera, I'm much better than a dog. Dogs are dimwitted and they'll bond with anything that feeds them and they'll trust anyone that smiles at them. Wolves can develop a strong bond too, our species is capable of having a strong connection with family. I don't trust everyone Sera, but I do trust you. If you're trying to explain that I'm family by calling me a dog, that is kind of you and I'll accept it. But no one else can call me a dog, just you."

The very idea that Serafina was willing to call a lion, kitty was enough for the woman to roll her eyes. She lived with other Weres that were part jungle cats and they acted nothing like kittens. Well, one was capable of doing that...then again that one was rather an odd one to begin with. With all of them standing on their make shift ice skates, thanks to Serafinas' ice trick, Raven gladly began to show Vhalla just how far that trust came between them. Seeing Serafina not react harshly towards being controlled was rather encouraging for Raven to continue. Easily she moved the woman around, allowing her to glide upon the ice. She could actually feel the woman lean in as if she were contorting her body to adjust to Ravens control. Grinning from ear to ear she continued bringing in Vhalla to join in on the fun. Surely the white witch was capable of having fun. It was the loud shriek for her to stop that had her grin falter. Although Serafina was shouting a word of encouragement, Raven didn't think that she should continue. Rather she slowly brought the white-haired woman to a complete and full stop on the ice. While she brought herself and Serafina to glide over towards the frightened woman. The lupine felt rather guilty for causing the girl some trouble and at this time she gave the girl a sympathetic look, her voice apologetic, glancing at Serafina with a concerned look.

"What's wrong? Was I making you go too fast? I could slow it down."
