Why? Why did she have to go off and help some more little damsel in distress? Raven was severely annoyed and furious with a certain dark-haired Witch. For some unknown reason it would seem that Fate has decided that her 'freedom' shouldn't be kept. A familiar. That was the name of this particular connection that this...this...so called- magical herbalist had created between the two, an accidental occurrence the woman had reassured her. Well, she wasn't comforted by the assumption that this was an accident, she was damn right distraught. Although she was a well-minded, kind hearted woman she was starting to rethink that her kindness wasn't something she should keep around. The night she had met this particular woman was when she had found herself caught in some gussied-up Dark Hunter's trap. It was her thought that the outskirts would be a safe place to be free and just run around without any problems, but apparently it was prime hunting grounds. She didn't see the steal trap until its steal teeth sunk into her grey coated paw. With the Dark Hunter coming after her to finish the deed he was distracted by the careless steps of this witch that had 'stumbled' upon them. It was because of her kindness, and self-perseveration that at the time she needed an ally, it would be in her best interest to save and protect the oddly dressed woman. Though now, Raven's mind was racing trying to put the pieces together, fully believing the Dark Hunter and Witch were in cahoots together, surely they had some sort of ansible device with them should the trap fail. With the way the Dark Hunter was ogling her, tasting the scent of arousal in the boy as he looked at the Witch as, well, how else would a guy look upon a girl that was wearing attire that showed off the feminine features- a bit too much for Raven's taste. Which in all honesty, the lupine believed showing any form of skin was horrendous. Deep down the girl knew the Dark Hunter and Witch were not on the same side, but really, how else was she going to attempt to see that this 'accidentally binding' to the witch wasn't the goal in the dark-haired woman's plot. The medicine that the Witch had created inside her basement was what helped aide and create this long-lasting union between the two, the Witch's pricked finger drew blood and she carelessly placed it in the medicine causing the blood to mix together. That same concoction of medicine and blood went into her own wounds, and apparently blood mixing with blood was some sort of 'magical permanent trigger to bind things together.' Hard to believe, really, easy to doubt it, but how could she not believe it?
Ever since that night she had fallen asleep on her basement floor, why the woman couldn't bring her a pillow or blanket she couldn't understand, she had felt a lure pull her towards vile woman. In her own pack she didn't feel such a strong bond among her own kind, any form of attachment to them was severed each time they had attacked or abused her. It was instinct alone that told her she was required to be attached to others and that void was being filled by mostly Tobi and Alexis. Though this bind to the Witch was much stronger. It was agonizing to be away from her, a woman she knew absolutely nothing about. There was no rhyme or reason to trust this girl, nothing that she knew about the woman she was to forever be tethered to without any formal permission. As of right now, she wanted nothing more than to be far away from the Witch after she attempted to explain everything. Both were not eager and both were dismayed by this new revelation. We find out scarred lupine storming through the darker side of the outskirts. Her ebony fur bristled upwards, the silver rays of the moon catching and causing her uniquely silver colored markings to shine it up a little. Slate eyes narrowed as she walked blindly, grey ears laced backwards as her fluffy grey and black plume swayed side to side in an agitated state. It was only when she reached the babbling brook did she let out an irritated huff before sitting down roughly on top of the bank. Growling softly, her mind racing with vexed thoughts and empty plans of breaking this link between her and Serafina, she could feel the anger bubbling up inside her. Blue-grey eyes stared into her reflection as, slate eyes roaming over her disfigured face, as a seed of doubt began to tread into her mind. Serafina wasn't too thrilled that they were together too, perhaps it was because the Witch knew just how broken she was?
Unwanted by her pack, a bond that was naturally supposed to be there torn to shreds and left with nothing but tendrils. Now, unwanted by another, where the bond was to be permeant, she was once more going through the ordeal of being coping with the idea that she was simply a creature that nobody ever wanted.
