The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. She could feel them. She could feel them all. Those souls being ripped from those bodies as they were slammed with her ice, sliced with the fiery heat of her lover's beams or torn apart by those sharpened canines. They would find her - those ghosts. They had a natural draw to her and she could feel that anger that radiated off of them as they slowly collected around her like an army. Their faces were haunting, the damage done to them clear even on those ghastly bodies. The sheer sight of them all caused a shudder to run down her spine as they pressed around that little conclave she'd sculpted from her ice, near suffocating her with their presence. She knew well those ghosts could do her no harm. They fell within her realm of command and though she did not hold some high regard for life by any means, Serafina hated the way they intervened with her life. How desperately she so wanted to be gone from this place - even if they were entirely capable of following her. Serafina could hear the click of those claw marks against her element, that bond between herself and that canine informed her well enough that the were was near and expectantly, her gaze turned towards that small entrance she'd left within that veritable fortress. A small frown marred her features, however, when that wolf failed to come and yet, the sound of combat assured her well enough of where the woman was.
It was that sound of footsteps that drew her attention, prompting the woman to sit up from that place as she so regarded that entrance with narrowed eyes. That sound of wetness caused her to shift, watching as one of the walls began to melt and slowly, too, the tenseness of her muscles began to disappear. After all, there was but one soul who she was sure was capable of that. The girl reached forward with her affinity, further encouraging that ice to melt beneath that grasp of his power, those droplets quickly increasing into a veritable puddle in front of her before, soon enough, the girl was given a glimpse of the man she found herself so peculiarly attached to. It was that shift of his attention that drew her gaze, her eyes darting past him and all of that ice she'd created to glance at the damage they had done. The blood they had spilled was certainly remarkable, and she supposed she should feel....cherished that those souls had gone through such great lengths for her alone. Presently, however, all Serafina felt was a dire need to be rid of this place altogether. She glanced upwards towards the sky, that mastermind at last showing himself and yet, his sheer presence here prompted only the furrowing of her eyebrows.
She hardly expected that near beam of light that came hurdling at them, much less that sudden brightness of Azrael's own wall. Still, she had no desire to test her companion's capabilities, the girl near throwing herself down onto the floor at that command from her boyfriend's lips. That sound of light on light filled her ear drums, causing her to wince at the sheer loudness of it. Her gaze darted towards that form of her lover as he was thrown back into her own ice, that light near bounding off each other, worsened only by the reflecting and the refracting off the mirrored like substances she had so created. Her eyes squinted at the brightness within that little cove until it slowly vanished. Slowly, she shifted back to a sitting position, her stormy eyes steadfast upon her Dark Hunter as he threw that ball of light at that fae in the sky. She watched as that laser beam was shot at her wolverine and though she knew well of Raven's own ability to create a shield of sorts, she could hardly help the worry that filled her. The girl reached out to her ice, attempting to help her wolverine in some fashion, even if those layers would do little more then slow down that laser beam. It was a delicate thing, creating a layer of ice in a place she could not see and, to be frank, she had little notion if she had managed to do anything at all.
She hardly expected for that fae to suddenly plummet from the sky, near throw with sizeable force onto the floor. Serafina could only assume it was Raven's telepathy at work and yet, she couldn't help that flinch that marred her frame at the sheer feeling of that fae passing to the afterlife. God, she hated that feeling. Her attention shifted at that feeling of her ice melting once again beneath Azrael's light. She watched as he stepped forward into that little alcove, those softly uttered words meant entirely for her ears alone. The girl remained silent in that moment, not particularly enjoying that muffled sound of that cloth shoved within her mouth. Rather, she let the man draw her into his arms, altogether grateful for his ability to free her from those bindings and too pluck that cloth from her lips. "Thank you." She muttered softly, her hands gingerly rubbing that aggravated skin around her wrists. That soft press of Azrael's lips upon her cheek momentarily caught her off guard. Had he truly been that concerned for her? She hadn't expected that he might have really been that invested within her. Certainly their relationship had lasted beyond that first expected few months but she still sometimes found herself surprised by how much emotion he truly held for her. She placed her hand within his own, accepting that help to her feet before those words briefly drew her gaze towards him. The girl bit her bottom lip, altogether knowing exactly what would come when later happened. "You're going to have to beat Raven's yelling first." She commented simply, knowing well she was going to receive an earful from them both. Maybe going back to that ice cavern wasn't all that bad...
