South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

South

Fresh air. He loved the open places, he loved the greenery, he loved that small feeling of freedom walking through a park. Just nearby, Atticus "Jase" knew the outskirts lay about. Jase was an interesting young boy. Moved out as soon as he turned 18 though continuing his studies. That was the deal, he moved out as long as he got a degree. Jase was smart, very smart for his age. His parents had always provided him with everything... of course, since they were rich. What they hadn't provided him with was knowledge of the real world. As a young teen, he began going out with friends, or simply by himself to meet people. Now that he thinks about it, that was a stupid decision, really. There are so many things that could have happened to him, so many species that could have hurt him. You can't blame him for his stupidity of the real world at that time though, his parents had tried to shut the outside world and reality from him. They had failed.

They never talked to him about what they were, about what he was. A were. WereHorse to be exact. He had yet to meet another like him... most commonly, he knew of werewolves and felines. From his reading knowledge, there were all kinds of were creatures. He wanted to know more about them, more about his kind. He had first turned at a very young, early age (since he was born and not turned). He tried asking his parents about it when he was older; again and again and again. Nope. Not a peep from them. Though surely he knew his parents were were-creatures too, or perhaps an odd mix of some sort. Finally, he was annoyed and moved out. Now he sought answers on his own. For someone who had grown up shut out of the world, he was picking up the real world pretty fast.

Jase was a bit awkwardly shaped. As he walked down the rows of trees it was quite evident. He was tall, had very broad shoulders and muscular arms yet he was skinny and lean. His eyes were a murky green, his hair a light blonde to match his light skin and his biggest feature on his face was his nose. Dark gray-blue light sweater with a white shirt underneath, black straight-skinny jeans and white converse. He was an average looking guy, nothing too special. Of course, not the most attractive but that didn't matter. As he walked, his broad shoulders relaxed more and more; the greenery put him at peace. Soon, Jase sees a lone bench which he turns for. Finally he sits on the strangely comfortable bench and he bends to rest his elbows on his knees. His eyes scan out the park a bit, only to see very few people out here enjoying the day. He had come out to enjoy the day, but needed to get back soon.

To what? He wasn't quite sure. He lived in an apartment by himself and had very few friends around. Most by now had moved away and a few of the were-friends he had met had mysteriously disappeared, though he knew well what their fate was. Jase didn't open up too much for those very reasons. He kept his real name to himself and didn't reveal his were-form to just anybody. Well, partially because he personally didn't find anything manly about a Horse, though he had to admit it had its advantages. He was fast, and loved the feeling of air running through his many. Strong, too. He had a love-hate relationship with his Were form. Though he did have one big advantage; he knew how to control it very well.
