South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

With Alexis and Isolt staying in her humble abode Raven had taken great lengths to keep herself under control. Lately she had been feeling a familiar buzzing touch in the back of her mind for the past couple of days. It was her body's subtle warning that she was slowly starting to fall for a side of her she tried to keep hidden. Alexis was unfortunate to witness herself in such a ruthless state, but she was lucky enough not to get herself injured. But lately she had been feeling the urge to just, change and just let the caged side of her out, just once. It wasn't safe to do it at home, but earlier that day she had had torn up the entire second floor up, again. She had felt an agonizing need to change while strolling through the hallway and falling down, her hands and feet changed into grey paws as she felt that familiar buzz in the back of her head. The need to attack everything around her was strong and so she began to tear everything apart, from scratching up the floorboards and walks, to ripping and shredding the furniture like an untamed dog. Waking up from her frenzy hazed she looked in horror at the disaster she had just created. Knowing the others would be returning soon, she thought it best to make a run for it in the Outskirts, but first she had to go through Hyde Park. She would be taking an extremely high risk for herself and others, but the need to be somewhere far away, if only to keep others from being harmed was far greater than the consequences she would go through should she not hold some sort of responsibility. Without a note to Alexis or Isolt, she would make a beeline for the door, shifting once more to open the door and slam it shut. She would have to make it to Hyde Park in her scarred pale flesh, and hopefully she'd make it there before she accidentally changed and caused damage to someone else.

After what seemed like painstaking hours the curly-haired woman finally reached the edges of the park as the sun slowly began to set. Clenching her teeth she would quietly walk past the couple jogging along the path, heading for the thicket that was a bridge of some sort between the Park itself and the beginnings of the Outskirts. Scarred flesh would press against the bushes ignoring them entirely as her mutilated face would turn side to side making sure no one was around before closing her eyes. Feeling the familiar throbbing pain as her bones shifted, her lithe frame would fall to the ground, massive grey paws replacing where feet and hands were, her pale flesh turned much darker as fur sprouted, while her clothes simply disappeared. With a rumbling snarl and a flick of her grey fluffy plume, her paws would dig roughly into the soften sod as she sprang forward kicking the fallen leaves and some dirt into the air as she began to run. Her sleek obsidian form would dodge through the trees, black lips pulled back as the scarred lupine ravished in the feeling of her limbs pulling and stretching, as she pushed herself to go faster. Running was a fantastic way to help keep that darker side of her in place, wanting to focus solely on nothing. She was afraid if she thought about it more and more it would come true, and perhaps the best thing was just to continue to run mindlessly. Feeling exhaustion starting to overwhelm her, she would point her form towards a water source, a babbling brook was nearby. Slowing down and reaching the bank she would pad softly through the mud lowering her ebony skull as she happily quenched her thirst, trying to cool herself down before she went for another sprint. You would think after being caught in a trap by a Dark Hunter and being forced into a muzzle by a trio of warlocks, she would have learned her lesson by now that the Outskirts wasn't such a safe place to be. Sometimes some lessons needed to be taught a few more times before one can comprehend it, would anyone be qualified to teach it to her?

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
