The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Witches did not possess the natural heightened senses of hearing and smell like a vampire or were and if Adelina was completely honest she wasn't always too conscious of her surroundings in the first place. Adelina didn't notice the man following her as she tended to the park or as she cultivated the newest patch of garden. As the last leafs uncurled, stretching up to the waning rays of the setting sun, his clearing throat broke her from concentration, causing the vegetation around her to halt immediately as if frozen in time. Her icy blue eyes slid open to survey the man who had interrupted her. He didn't look very intimidating, even kept his distance, though she had a good guess that he wasn't human from his wary gaze to the horizon and the way he shifted against the shadows.
"You wouldn't be the first to call me that. Have you never met an earth witch?" Adelina raised a delicate brow though remained where she was seated in the fresh earth surrounded by the new array of flowers. "There's nothing wrong with being a vegan but I'm not one." He had an odd line of questioning. What part of growing her gardens had anything to do about her choice in what she ate didn't click. Her attention deviated from him to look around the gardens when he questioned about it. Nice perhaps wasn't the word she would have ever used to describe it, or anything in nature, but only other earth elementals probably would see it the way she did. To her everything moved independently, had an energy to it that she could feel and latch on to. She had the power to snuff out that energy but instead Adelina worked on only growing and cultivating it. "I only helped it." To create would mean it wouldn't be there without her.
Slowly she rose to her feet, half-heartedly brushing her hands against the folds of her blue dress. Adelina carefully stepped from the churned dark soil to the hard packed dirt path to properly face him. "So are you just out for an evening stroll to admire the park or pick at people's eating habits?" She crossed her arms over her chest, eyeing Damon with a small smirk pulling at the corner of her mouth. Adelina wasn't a fighter in any way which probably didn't help the "tree hugger" insults but she couldn't bring herself to harm anyone even if her life depended on it. Defending herself in perhaps stalling or immobilizing the person was one thing, though it was doubtful whether she would even be able to manage that...unless her plants helped.
