The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. His own head bobbed softly in response to her appreciation of that insight into Alexander's nature he had provided, at least in some sense. Dorian decidedly fond of the age-old Hunter all the same. Alexander was, to Dorians mind, a terribly interesting sort of person. The man knew a great deal about the world, more than perhaps any other Dorian had ever known and- even if the Hunter did not openly speak of who or what he had once been- the Fae King was entirely inclined to listen near anytime the man spoke if only for some hope that he might share another of those tales Matteo so often spoke off in perhaps equally vague terms. Dorian having come to wonder extensively of the past that pair of men had shared. That room of photographs and memories within Matteo's French home had inspired a terrible curiosity in him. How many there had been! How many lives lived! Neither Alexander nor Matteo seeking to mention that past unless directly asked of it and yet why they did not he hardly knew. How unfortunate that it would be decidedly impolite to pry. Such thoughts, for now, were readily discarded to the far confines of his mind, the Monarch unable to prevent that soft chuckle that found his lips at Beylani's mention that should could not wait to see his ideas. His thoughts so inclined to shift to Sebastian in that moment. Those very 'ideas' having been near the beginning of their relationship. Dorian's ideas, after all, were so often inclined to just what else they might explore between those bedsheets. His considerations this afternoon, in the least, decidedly more tame. That grin finding his features all the same, that ready impishness seeming to dance to the surface of the often composed young man. Dorian, perhaps, far more inclined to humour then many truly believed.
"Everyone is always eager to see my ideas, they are usually exceptional."
Such words were entirely teasing and wholly good-natured in their offer. A certain measure of playfulness tainting them readily. His demeanour shifted only slightly in the moments that followed the thorough examination of that drinking fountain. Dorian rather displeased to discover that all it did was produce a rather small amount of water that was, largely, unremarkable. Why anyone might desire to drink from it still remained to be seen and yet there was a great deal of things people did that Dorian himself hardly understood. This surely another of them. The man inclined to tell Sebastian off it when his lover woke this evening all the same. The Monarch pausing to glance towards that lowering sun if only to estimate at the time. Dorian determined to be there every evening when Sebastian woke, the Fae momentarily considering whether or not he might convince his fiancé to stay in bed for at least part of the evening to catch up upon his own sleep. The chances of Sebastian so allowing him to sleep, perhaps, decidedly limited. That simper touching his lips at the mere thought of it.
It was that consideration of his own relationship, perhaps, that inspired such a query of her own. After all, such a woman surely held the attention of many. In the least se would surely have done so in his own era with such features as that. The Fae King near surprised to find she held no current suitor. Dorian quick to assure her this would hardly last for long. Not when she was such a comely creature. The Monarch still very much of that school of thought that women surely desired to marry and have families. The man struggling still to accept that such was not the done thing any longer- at least- it was not so expected as it once was. That compliment that Sebastian was surely lucky to have him inspired another soft smile. Dorian content to query upon whether or not the woman might find herself available for tea in the coming days. After all, she was a pleasant being, a refreshing one. Her lack of knowledge upon just who he was making for a truly enjoyable conversation in every sense and besides, if she held no other company it surely could not hurt to inspire some friendship with her.
"Excellent. I shall see to arrangements. My PA will contact you with details and my address and assure that you are on the guest list else I fear you shan't get past the gates."
It was, he knew, a decided security measure to only allow those listed and expected guests onto the estate and yet truly it made it rather difficult for anyone to drop by for an impromptu visit in any sense- security refusing to let them in. Dorian pushing such thoughts aside once more as they crested that small rise and wandered down to that tree-lined path he had spoken off. Those giant, sweeping trees burnished red and gold and brown lining the walkway upon either side and as far as the eye could see. His young companion quick to take up her camera, Dorian chuckling softly at her promise this was exactly what she desired. The man quite content to simply enjoy her enthusiasm in turn as Maxwell threw himself with vigour upon the nearest leaf, his puppy teeth tearing into it as his head shook it wildly from left to right. They really were going to have to buy him some more toys. He would soon outgrow those ones he had. That blue chewy bone Arlo had gifted them with near chewed to pieces. His attention returned to the young woman once more then, Dorian content to offer that idea in those moments that followed then. After all, a photograph of himself would have every newspaper and magazine at her door, let alone a good photograph and one he had signed to be released.
"I hardly mind, it is no bother."
He assured her, querying then as to where she might like him to sit or stand then. That assurance that it was his choice so momentarily taking him by surprise. Outside of the young Fae girl whom took near all Sebastian and his own more private photos he had been somehow directed by every other photographer since. Dorian momentarily given to wonder just what his natural pose might be given to be. The man settling then for scooping up that puppy into his arms. Maxwell's body wriggling wildly once more in the simple joy of that affection before proceeding to lick at his chin, Dorian's features scrunching slightly all over again at that ticklish sensation, that warm chuckle drawn from him once more as he lent back against the trunk of the nearest tree. Several of those leaves falling down in that moment. Dorian and Maxwell both inclined to glance upwards and towards before that puppy suddenly made every effort to grasp at them. The Fae King taking several more moments to attempt to quieten him, the King at last managing to focus both his and Maxwell's attention upon the young Beylani and offer her a smile.
"Did you manage to get a picture of anything you liked? I will make sure the release forms get to you in the next day or so."
That the woman may well have preferred to take those photos of man and dog fascinated by those leaves or in those affectionate moments before had hardly occurred to him in any sense, Dorian rather assured she could keep which ever photos she liked. The Monarch assuring himself she had gotten what she needed before Maxwell was returned to his feet once more, Dorian wandering back towards her now. It was the sudden approach of one of those members of his security team, however, that saw the man pause. That team, until now, having remained well back and near out of sight as Dorian had so instructed off them. Arnold- the head of his security stepping forward now, that tall well-dressed man nodding briefly to Beylani before turning to Dorian himself. His head bowing now. Your Majesty, it is getting late, we should begin to head home.
"Yes, thank you Arnold. I'll be just one more moment."
His hand lifted slightly, dismissing the man gently, Arnold nodding before wandering to stand some distance away once more. Dorian largely content to return his attention back to Beylani entirely. That smile still upon his features.
"It has been a pleasure meeting you. I have enjoyed our afternoon and I shall look forward to having our tea later this week. I suppose I ought to head home myself. If you follow this path you will reach the far gate, it will lead back onto the main streets and you should be able to reach your own home from there. Good afternoon, Lani."
