The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

She's habitually paradoxical, a parallel perpendicular;
Illy could hardly imagine a world where she couldn't speak to animals, there wasn't a single day in her life when she couldn't understand them. She was born fairy just like she was born with this very gift to communicate with creatures that could not be comprehended by most. She was born into a world so very different from the rest. It may have felt so very natural to her and yet to others she seemed so strange and different from the others. It made making friends very difficult, not to mention that there wasn't very many accepting fae to begin with growing up. One might think of this as a lonely existence and yet she never saw it as a curse. It was the one thing she could find joy in, the one solace that remained in a world that was so complicated.
You see, she had many friends, they just weren't the usual kind. They came in all shapes and sizes, furry, feathered, and scaled.
It took a moment, but something seemed to dawn upon that panda as her features seemed to light up unlike anything she had seen before. Something knowing sparked within the little creature as realisation had settled upon her. Of course she could understand her! She knew about Mr.Bush and everything that fell out of her mouth since that. But it wasn't until this very moment that the little panda bear fully pieced this together. Illy quite contently met her hazel eyed stare with her silvery one, as if they were studying one another a small friendly smile playing upon her lips. It was like they were seeing each other for the first time.
The pitch Abby's voice took, made the fae sit up straight as if startled by the surprise and yet she shared in that excitement that it near radiated from her. "I can!" She beamed at her, with a bright smile, nodding animatedly. "YAY!" She clapped her hands together, she was so entirely thrilled at how enthusiastic she was at their newfound friendship. Even most animals needed persuading that she was safe and not like most humans. But Abby seemed entirely thrilled to embrace their friendship. "You really think so??" Fate! She hadn't encountered fate before but she was quiet pleased to simply accept that this meeting was fated. Her eyes seemed to sparkle with a newfound glee. A friend!
It wasn't so easy to make friends but she was thrilled with the concept that this was somehow destined!
It made it so easy to babble on and on. She talked about her other friend Mr. Crow. She would love him! Well, maybe not entirely, he was someone you grew to love, he was like a prickly pear, but he meant well. He always looked so lonely and he somehow refused to make other crow friends. Not that it mattered at this very moment because she was entirely focused on this little floofy panda ball. "I think you will love him! He acts like he doesn't like love and attention but I think he secretly does." She whispered that last sentence as if he could somehow hear her, as if he silently lurked somewhere nearby.
"A red panda? You sound really exotic and fancy. I could only wish to be so fancy." She admitted rather cheerfully, there was no real jealousy in that tone, more like gushing at how cool her new friend really was. "Well I am very sorry, I don't have any bamboo with me." Hopefully everything else would suffice. A panda with no bamboo to eat, that seemed like some kind of travesty.
Illy simply dumped all the items in her bag, in a haphazard messy pile, some of her gemstones tumbling out. Some she had found, some she had found in the strangest of places, one in a bag, one lying around on a table. She felt very possessive over her slew of trinkets and she rarely parted with them. However, there were some exceptions to the rule, sometimes she did trade them for money because people seemed to be obsessed with that papery stuff. She never understood why, she would much rather have these little gems in her possession.
"I like rice too!" Oh look they had all of the things in common. She was so excited she could hardly contain it.
They were already making future plans to go to a fancy pants restaurant that had lamb. Surely only fancy people had lamb. "Okay!! I wouldn't even know where to look! I think we could find somewhere if we borrow a phone." What did she mean by borrow? Maybe it was along the lines of stealing, but that didn't sound nice at all. Maybe she should have her own phone but that just seemed entirely complicated.
The little panda peered at her assortments of shiny things. She was pleased to know that she thought they were pretty too. "Do you want one?" They were friends now! "I think you would look good in the emerald necklace." She looked away for a second, looking at the dainty necklace with a vibrant emerald dangling from it. She was going to use it to pay for her rent, but thought it would look so much better on her companion. It would be easy peasy enough to find more. Not to mention all the ones she already had, it would make most jeweller thieves envious.
But then Abby said something.. something about her ears. Impulsively she reached up to touch them. She shook her head slowly, a twinge of sadness almost finding their way to those silvery depths of her eyes. "Oh thank you. I bet you don't really, people look at you funny. Sometimes the mean ones make fun of me.. I try to keep them hidden. I don't think people like fairies very much." She left out the part that happened to her father's ears. Some cruel dark hunter cut them off and left him to die. But she wasn't going to sully the mood with sad stories. Keep looking up and up her mother used to tell her.
"Oh you can help yourself to anything here." She opened up some of the containers, displaying them all. Strawberries, carrots, cut up fruits, there was certainly a lot for on person. She popped a strawberry into her mouth. She chewed the juicy little ruby fruit. "I like the strawberries." She looked down at them, she always packed a lot.
"Hey can I ask you a question?" She paused, her silvery eyes resting upon her newfound friend thoughtfully. "How does a Panda eat lamb at a restaurant.. with a fork?" Did they even allow pandas into places??
