The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

mira
If you are going to flaunt that you have many abilities up your proverbial sleeve, you're bound to entice some kind of curiosity. Especially in a world full of supernatural beings accompanied with actual powers, perhaps Mira found herself more curious than most. Why wouldn't she? After all, how do you think her old pack leader was able to keep all those wolves in check? It sure as hell wasn't by adoration, it was by fear and using that power he possessed to get what he wanted. Pure, heart and mind penetrating fear.
Mira attempted to follow her gaze to where Nadya had been so fixated upon. Was she going to shoot lasers from her eyes? She wasn't exactly sure what was supposed to happen but didn't say a word about it. That was when it happened, Then a loud splintering crack like a firework went off, she could feel that vibration within her firmly planted paws. A large chunk of that tree exploded, small chards of wood falling everywhere. The startling noise itself was enough to make the woman jump. How close it was in sound to that rogue hunter's gun going off. "Shit, you put a whole new meaning to if looks could kill." The midnight wolf was amused and perhaps even envious of that power the other wielded. She could imagine what would happen to a select few peoples skulls would look like if they were the target of such a power. A small satisfied smirk pulled at the corner of her still bloodied lips. At the very least she could do just as much damage with a sawed-off shotgun. The woman was quite handy with firearms or anything she could shoot for that matter. "There isn't much special about me.." She added, looking at the impressive damage she had caused the tree once more. If only Mira was accurate about that statement, she simply had no idea what she was capable of.
There was something sad about the way she spoke of her brother. That awkward moment rising once more, where she knew more than she truly let on. But Mira held her hand close to her chest, the less she exposed what and who she knew the better it was. How would Nadya react to her if she had been open with her knowledge?
Inconspicuous, that was the realm the she-wolf planned to linger. It was safer. You blended in that way. If only Mira was a creature that could simply blend in, then that would make things much easier. Regardless, she replied to her words. "I wouldn't give up hope... family can be.. complicated. But no matter how much you try to deny it, you share the same blood." Who knew what the future held for Nadya and Tetradore, she didn't know. But when it came down to it, they were blood.
What happened next was entirely surprising to Mira. She hadn't exactly foreseen an invitation to the pack she had received heavy warnings about. Not to mention, she had made a deal. Didn't she? For a moment, she remained almost thoughtful, her expression remaining stoic. "Look, Nadya, whatever haunts me is my problem. I won't put that burden on someone else." She knew this woman wasn't being cruel, she actually intended to offer a chance with the resources she had. She had no reason to be prickly with this young woman when her heart blazed with more burden most could bear.
She was not a mere stray dog. She had no intentions of dumping her problems on someone else's doorstep and expect them to bleed for her. No, she was a lone wolf by choice, basking in the sweet taste of freedom she had nearly snuffed out of her. She made her bed, every single moment she had a choice. Every good choice, every foolish mistake that would tear her apart, it was all hers. She had heard the tales of Frost and the cruelty he could possess. Her ears flickered, a burdened sigh escaped the she-wolf. "I appreciate your offer, Nadya." Those golden eyes resting upon the feline, perfectly unreadable and perhaps even kind.
"I am a wanderer by choice and until I sort my own crap out, I plan to remain that way. I refuse to let my demons tarnish anyone else's door, save my own." Of course, the pitch black wolf had her reasons. A multitude of them to live that free life, even if she would need to be cautious in the midst of the complicated reality she faced. She was certain she was destined to face it alone. "Trust me when I say, what I am up against does not discriminate against children. You don't want me anywhere near them when he comes knocking." Her words were genuine.
She lowered she muzzle toward the carcass, allowing her teeth to easily rip into that tough hide. It almost felt therapeutic. The hunt had done wonders for her edginess. Once satisfied with her piece, she looked to the panther once more. "I'm sure your little ones and whoever else could benefit from this kill. You're welcomed to take the lion's share." Elk tasted much better and was much leaner and healthier meat for growing predators. Surely the quickly growing kids to benefit from some of this stuff.
It wouldn't be long before the smell of death reached the nostrils of the other predators within the forest, most likely the coyote. They seemed to pick up on kills like bees to honey, those sneaky, persistent buggers could snatch prey like no other.
