The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Arlo James
See what it's like to be a vulture's lunch
His blue eyes remained almost trained upon the figure of the other man, Arlo watching as the Warlock seemed to stop near dead in his tracks before hurriedly stepping back on command and away from that elaborately created trap. Well, alright then. This was the most obedient anyone had ever been. At least for Arlo. Was this guy actually afraid of him? That was new. The vampire frowning slightly as the warlock lifted his hands up, turning his palms outward in that near universal gesture of innocence that earned little more than a huff from Arlo in turn. The mention of that web saw him turn briefly back to eye that fine material he'd worked so hard to string between those trees some hours ago, a trap that was sadly destined to go unfulfilled the longer he spent trying to get rid of the Warlock who was undoubtedly scaring off his vastly preferred vampiric prey. What he hadn't anticipated however, was the other man's promise not to move until he was told as he positioned himself beneath that street light, Arlo watching in simple surprise. Did he think he was going to eat him? Had his scary act been too good? Maybe he shouldn't have been quite so...forceful. This guy wasn't exactly that bad he supposed. Great. Now he felt like a bit of a monster. One hand lifted to run through that near black hair as that heavy sigh fell from him. Arlo managing those words at last.
"Look, bud. Relax. I didn't mean to freak you out or whatever. I don't eat....warlock. You are a warlock aren't you? I just didn't want you walking into my trap yeah? See- over there?"
He turned then, gesturing back to those trees behind him, that faint light cast from the street lamp illuminating the thin, fine lines of that web strung between them. It was unlikely, Arlo supposed, that the man before him had ever had a vampire point out a web to him and yet really there was a first for everything right? Arlo decidedly distinct from most vampires as it was. In fact, he was the only one of his kind he'd ever met- at least aside from Patrick. His head shaking softly in an effort to rid it of those thoughts of his long-dead maker. His attention returned to the other fellow then as he asked whether or not he ever got to ask any questions or he was the one being interrogated. Well, at least he seemed to have calmed down. Arlo could hear his heartbeat from here, that previously erratic thrum slowing into something far more rhythmical. At least he hadn't given the poor guy a heart attack. Arlo's attention deviated briefly from the warlock once more, almost as if contemplating that question as he glanced back out across that empty park. He supposed he could spare a few minutes for this guy. It's wasn't like he had any prey coming along any time soon. Hell, maybe the warlock might attract some of them with that living, breathing body of his. Maybe it would be better if he stayed. Hmm.
"How many of these questions do you have? As I said, I'm trying to catch dinner here. Oh, you can move again, bud."
That nickname he seemed to find for near everyone he met fell effortlessly from his lips then, Arlo waving his hand loosely towards the warlock then in that almost dismissive gesture that gave him that permission to move all the same. Arlo attempting to relax his own frame a little if only to make the warlock less, well, tense. The vampire attempting a lopsided grin of sorts, that look slightly 'off' if only for the man's efforts not to display too many teeth.
"I'm thinking maybe we got off to a rocky start, I didn't mean to yell at you. I'm Arlo."
He stepped forward easily then, approaching the warlock now, holding his hand out in that age old gesture of greeting.
"I don't bite that much, I promise."
