Nadya waited patiently for the obvious internal struggle Henry seemed to go through at being confronted with her little family. The moment he accepted the watermelon a warm simper crossed her features. It hardly faltered even with him stating that she had been deemed pure evil. While she had her problems with her brother and him saying she was selfish, he had never told anyone to steer away from her. There was only one individual who did that. "I see Raven wasted no time." If anything, there was a slight eye roll from the young mom. "Go catch crabs." Nadya handed each child a bucket and sent them off, not wishing for them to be a part of this conversation. Once they were out of ear shot heading to the edge of the water did she look back to Henry. "The problem with that is you have a very skewed view of what has happened. You see, it started long before Raven was in the pack. I'm sure by now you know Tobias is their father," she motioned to the twins. "Tobias and I came into a power that neither of us could control. I have a pheromone power that can be.... very strong. His is a chaos power that triggered mine and went haywire. He learned his power resulted in it and used it to get sex. When I learned to control mine, I used it once to see if it could be used to get someone like Tobias who has a deathly fear of water to overcome it. It did. Make no mistake, I didn't want to become pregnant, but apparently preventatives aren't as effective with our Were species. My brother still blames me for it as well though."

"Anyways, I was already pregnant by the time Raven entered the pack but Tobias and her quickly began to date and she hated the fact that I had his cubs. She would never be in the same room as them so that meant I had to have them living in another town with my childhood pack or playing musical rooms so didn't run into her. There is another member who is in and out of town named Regan; she tried to kill the twins because as she saw it she was Raven's friend and they weren't Raven's cubs and were a threat to the relationship with Tobias. It also meant rotating full moons being alone so each could have time with the pack during that night. During those nights alone a particular man, Frost...by now you know who he is too, sought me out and spent time with me. He was kind to my children and didn't make me feel like shit about having them." Nadya's gaze drifted back to watching Izzy and Micah digging in the wet sand searching for those little sand crabs. "When Raven was attacked I couldn't believe Frost would do that. I found out, after being told I was horrible by the pack for thinking there had to be more to it, that Raven had attacked Frost and caused him to attack her. See, there's a woman names Alexis, she's a dear friend to the Nightshade pack. I even saved her from a hunter the first night she was in Sacro. I don't want to see her hurt but Raven found Frost and Alexis in an argument and took it upon her herself to attack an Alpha without my brother's consent. Unfortunately, though I care for Alexis, she denied our invitation to be a part of our pack before so is a grey area. She doesn't fall under the protection of our pack enough to go attacking another pack's members especially an Alpha. When my brother found out I had been talking to Frost, learning the truth, and that he was kind to me and my kids, he forbade me from seeing him. I moved into the Ark at that point but that apparently served to cause the opposite effect my brother was hoping for. Instead of Frost losing interest and moving on he turned his attention to my brother's girlfriend at the time. She was my best friend before her and my brother even started dating. She worked for me at my burlesque at the time. I didn't know Frost was making her fearful and paranoid about the fae world. She wouldn't talk to me. Then Frost and my brother fought when he found out.... â€"well, we all thought Tet was dead from that encounter. Tobias took control of the Ark and from his mental health you can see how well that didn't go. I moved out of the Ark to a place on the border. I hunted and left the food at the Ark and patrolled the side of our border that Frost and his member's might come back to finish off the rest of us. It's not like I just ignored what Frost has done with Alexis or Tet. I did fight him on different occasions. It's hard to kill someone when they just let you strike at them and never fight back. I've only killed one person before and that was a hunter who nearly killed Micah."

Nadya eyed Henry to see if she'd lost him yet. "Frost wanted me, plain and simple, and he was going to continue to lash out at Tet because of him keeping me away. I tried to explain to my brother that between being without my children going to another town, playing musical chairs, having my position as Beta constantly under threat, and the unpredictable nature of Regan, it wasn't safe for me to stay. I'm a mother and my decisions will always be for them first. Does it feel better being in a pack where I might also get someone who cares about me too? Yes. I would have left though even if it hadn't been. Tet will never believe me, neither will the others...they call me a traitor. Despite the fact that I continue from my position in my new pack to look out for those my brother cares for. Frost will do things for me. I can stay his hand on certain things." She felt quite out of breath after spilling everything. It was nearly 3 years worth of information. "Not so black and white as they'd have you believe."

"As for your progress, I'm glad. My brother may be new at his creator status but he's a good teacher. And you're not trapped here. You can go anywhere you want. I wouldn't say it's a good idea until you've gained control though." Nadya nibbled on one of the children's unfinished pieces of watermelon. "If Tet is paying attention to you then he cares about you. The bond between him and you is as close to the one that connects me with my children. He will do anything to keep you from harm and keep you happy. I believe it'll be good for him. Perhaps he'll understand even an inkling of the difficult decisions I have to make as a mother. It devastated me to leave him; I felt like there was a black hole I was simply falling continuously into. He'll see that in the end, he'll put you before the rest of them if it came to it just like I did for my children. In a way you're kind of like an heir to the pack actually so you're more important than you think."
