if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
That ferocious aura that near radiated off the giant ivory bear was hardly ignored. Abigail knew very well that Mr. Grumpy face was...well...grumpy. She suspected it had to do with the season and the fact that he should be hibernating. Did Polar Bears hibernate too or was that only a brown bear thing? Frankly, the more she considered it, the more hibernating sounded kind of great. Especially with lots of super warm fuzzy blankets. Oh man, she bet he was a great hibernater. She'd hibernate with him. Maybe after he got his fish they could find a nice cave and hibernate together for a few hours. He was probably super warm and toasty and - oh wait, he was talking to her wasn't he? She glanced up at him with an almost blank stare only for those hazel eyes to turn towards her surrounding at that mention of those seals his kind were so known for hunting. Her features contorted in an almost contemplative fashion only for the young woman to shake her head all together. "Naaahhhh, you wouldn't eat me. You're an aquatic eater, don't you know Mr. Bear? You like things in the water! I'm not in the water. Unless you're a trash digger...ew....you're not a trash digger right?" She took a step back from him, as if the young woman was genuinely concerned of this possibility, only for her nose to tentatively reach out to him, sniffing him to ensure she was right. She was preeeetttyyy sure he liked watery things like a normal polar bear. Yeah. He was talking big, but that's okay! She wouldn't let that scare him off. Poor Mr. Grumpy pants was probably just hungry and lonely. Yeah! That had to be it.
She eyed that sudden display of those ivory teeth with an equally as unperturbed stare, the woman only briefly stepped forward only for her head to tilt to the side. "Uhh...you uh...you got...something...stuck there...Mr Grumpy man." She commented, attempting to be the polite woman. After all, what if he attempted to smile at someone and then he had that stuck in his teethies and then whoever he was smiling at was all like...omg. That would be awful! As it was, Abigail was easily distracted, the mention of climbing was a topic she took on with a newfound gusto, the woman altogether insistence of her ability to climb that ivory companion. His consent to allow her to try, however, caused her tail to flick with a hint of enthusiasm. "Okay!!" She stated, quite willing to take on this challenge. Abigail was altogether certain of her ability to climb and ride him, the hard part was just...getting up there without hurting him. After all, she didn't want to dig her claws into that fur. She was temporarily distracted from that conundrum of the best way to climb her friend by that insistence on the need for silence, the young woman quickly attempted to assure him that she was more than capable of being just that if he so required it of her.
She was, perhaps, a bit too ecstatic to be allowed to join her companion on his fishing adventure, even if she had never truly gone fishing before. Her own kind, after all, were scavengers by nature. They ate leafy things and fruit and...well sometimes they'd eat things like squirrels and birds but...why bother with that when she could just get something at the store? Even so, Abigail was more then happy to show the man what she did know about fishing, the woman entirely keen to mimic those fishies as she flopped on the ground quite like they did. She had thought little, truly, of her ability to catch a fish, not with how big they got or how deep the water was. As far as Abigail was concerned, it was merely an adventure she had every intent on enjoying. It was only that movement of that rather large head that caused the young woman to stop those certainly silly antics, the girl leaping back to her feet to face the man again. She quite near beamed at that invitation to join him, an almost girlish squeal left her lips. "AHHHH, THANK YOU. MR. GRUMPY MAN!" She exclaimed, that tail flicking behind her. That further consent to ride him was almost more than Abigail could handle, that beam still on her features even as he turned away from her.
She had every intention of following through on those challenges that were presented to her, the woman raced to the closest tree, her claws digging into the bark as she lifted herself upwards in the fashion her own species so excelled at. She jumped to the lowest limp, dashing out to the very edge of it only to hop to one of another tree that would allow her the best angle. It wasn't until she was at the end of the second limb that the young girl quite suddenly leaped out into the thin air, allowing gravity to take hold of the little panda as she fell right onto her companion's back. "Tada!!!!" She announced with a squeak. Well, she hadn't said she would climb him now, had she?! The girl was altogether pleased with herself as she waddled closer towards that giant head, only to flop with limbs out stretched so the very tip of her nose was upon the man's forehead, her front paws falling on each side of that massive neck. See, he would make a great hibernating snuggle buddy! That softer, masculine voice drew her attention and yet, for the first moment, Abigail offered him little more than a soft huff. "I'm not a bit. I'm a bear." She responded, nodding slightly onto to add, "I am always alone." She was hardly upset by it, however, after all, she had those nights she spent with Arlo and those were super nice. It was merely a statement, once she glossed over before continuing. "It was final exams today. They were so hard, Mr. Grumpy Man. My head was too tired to work anymore."
