South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. death incarnate & night triumphant

Andras was hardly concerned when she didn't accept his hand, it seemed to him, that the woman hadn't noticed his outstretched hand. So, he returns it to his side after brushing off several dusty spots from his pants, his eyes watching her with curiosity, every once in a while darting to the bird perched on her shoulder. He casually watches the faerie woman as she rights herself quickly, that damned bird continuing to scream at him as if he were throwing profanities. It was almost unsettling, and yet, Andras had experienced many oddities through the centuries, why he found it surprising that this woman had befriended a bird was beyond him. After a moment, his gaze finally settles on her face, her eyes almost similar to a deer, wanting to race away and put as much distance between the two of them.

As he states that he's quite alright, no harm done, he's relieved to see a small smile coat her lips, as she responds before an immediate frown blooms across her face and she turns to the raven. Still, Andras can't keep the look of surprise form his own face as she practically scolds the bird, puzzled at the conversation for a brief moment, his eyes travel to her hair, noticing the twigs weaved through her locks. After he asks if she's alright, he immediately begins to pluck the twigs from her hair, only having to stop as she whips her head back to him, holding him in those silver eyes. Quickly retreating, he drops his hand, grimacing slightly at the woman as he watches that frown unfold onto her face once more. "Ah, forgive me," he mutters, clasping his hands behind his back before he could make the woman feel even more uncomfortable.

"You have... twigs in your hair," he explains with a shrug, dark hazel eyes traveling back to the raven once more as the bird loudly shrieks at him. What an absurd little creature! The faerie before him seemed truly uncomfortable in his presence, it hardly helped that he was far taller than her and he didn't exactly have the most approachable demeanor, so he allows his features to relax, to look a touch more welcoming, yet, he fails miserably. He was thankful he at least didn't have his monstrosity of wings out. As a casual silence falls between the two of them, he watches the way she runs her delicate fingers through her hair, covering those pointed tips carefully. He supposed faerie ears were hard to hide, he never managed to hide his, nor did he really care to hide them. When she finally responds, Andras can't help but smile, amusement dancing across his eyes, "Yes, the ground is very soft," he chuckles quietly.

"I'm pleased to hear you aren't harmed though," he nods in her direction, attempting to ignore the caws of the raven. And when he reaches his hand out again, he hesitates when the stranger responds, Andras smiling faintly at her, immediately picking up when she meant as he glances at the raven angrily watching him from his perch. "Ah, I suppose you're right," he agrees before dropping his hand once more, slipping it into his pocket so he might look a touch less threatening, though, he didn't truly expect this bird to be satisfied with just that. As his hazel eyes turn onto the raven once more, he inspects the obnoxious bird with a curious gaze, feeling the faerie woman inspect him in turn. Her light lyrics cause the man to look back at her, brows raised slightly as she declares that he was her friend. Not entirely sure what to say in regards to her statement, he dips his head instead before she's explaining he truly did not want to know what the bird was saying.

A small chuckle escapes his lips, his grin widening at her small outburst, "So he wants to peck out my eyes?" he asks, amusement dancing across his features, lifting a brow in the raven's direction. He doesn't push it though, it was clear he made the woman feel a bit nervous, or perhaps she was just a nervous woman in general; she was in the forest with a complete stranger. "I'm pleased that you don't care for me to lose my eyes, I wouldn't like to lose them either," he affords her a quick wink in her direction. As their conversation shifts once more, he declares his pleasure in meeting a fellow faerie, surprised by her response and the crossing of her arms. "There is a small court here in the city," he starts off, though he doesn't expand on the idea, he wasn't entirely sure if she would be interested; the woman seemed rather content with her companion. "Am I considered a snobbish bully?" he asks innocently, though a wry smile is toying at the corners of his lips.

After a moment, Andras finally offers his name, extending his hand, entirely aware how the woman regards it. He's almost convinced she isn't going to shake it before she responds with her own name and grasps his hand with a delicate one. Grinning at her, he gives her arm a firm shake before releasing her, not wanting the raven to go off on him again. "A pleasure to meet you, Illy," he states just as she introduces the bird on her shoulder. Not terribly original but he can't quite keep the smile from his face as his attention turn towards the bird once more, his head dipping slightly, "And a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Crow," he states, watching the way she reaches a hand up to scratch at the feathers on his head. Her question catches him off guard, surprised she continued their conversation, brows raised slightly as his hazel eyes find hers once more. "Ah, I was just taking a break from my duties and the city is a little too loud to relax," he shrugs, realizing he had been gone a touch too long. "The grass was quite comfortable though if you ask me," he grins at her, his hands casually clasping behind him. "And you? Are you and Mr. Crow merely taking a walk?"
