The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The woman was just a box of surprises like he said. He could read every inch of her emotions, all through her eyes. The fear of not knowing Braxton at all, and how dark his appearance was. Not mention his own amber eyes gave off a slight, hunger and power. He was basically lapping up every second of this. Her posture was another dead give away. Braxton could see that she was struggling internally. She could decide; "Do I run? Do I stay? Oh God.. What do I do?" It was like out of a movie script that he read that from her, as he flicked the ash from his smoke to the ground. He lifted the smoke to his lips one more time to take another inhale of nicotine, just as he noticed she slipped from his grasp. Those ever so nervous words fell from her lips, and it was clear she wanted to get as far away from him as she could. He suddenly felt a flame ignite in his chest, as he would feel her brush right passed his sturdy frame. But he wouldn't let her escape that easily...
Oh no no, not like this. Like the swiftness of a wind force gale, his hand swung out from his side and with great ease, gentleness and precision, he clamped his hand around her upper arm. He could feel the terror course through her now. A slight gasp exited her mouth, and he couldn't help but let out a devilish laugh. His smooth vocals made it sound much like he was the perfect villain from a movie, and that was how wanted it. At first, she tried to pry herself away from him, but he had just drew yet another piece from her mind: This time, a mannerism.
"I beg you, p-please don't!! I'll give you whatever, money, something expensive! Just please, don't!!" He said in her terror filled tone, but in his voice as he turned his head and threw the cigarette into another pond. He didn't have time to light another one, as he didn't want this prized possession to escape from him. Not yet at least... Not until he said it was time to go. He felt that animalistic drive start to take over; That ever so powerful feeling of being the Alpha here, and asserting all forms of power and fear, not to mention dominance. Which was clearly being stated at this very moment.
Braxton stared into those scared, and ever so frightened baby blue eyes and laughed again. She didn't know what he just did to mimic her tone, but he knew all too well what he did. He did it for a reason. "Darling, I don't want your money or your valuables. Hell, I don't even really want your car for that matter... You, just remind me of her... My wife that died years and years ago, and you have everything going for you: Her looks, her hair, her style... EVEN HER SCENT!!" He roared at her with an assertive, and demonically fueled voice. Braxton would turn his head briefly and chuckled, seeing her squeal and attempt to break hold. But he wasn't having it. He clamped down hard enough to make her freeze in place. "Listen to me, and listen well, okay? I don't like having to make repeat visits like this to get a message across okay, my little Crown Jewel?" He purred at her as he would chuckle once more.
So this is what it felt like? This is what it was like, to see someone tremble in sheer panic, knowing the other person had complete control and the slightest move, would trigger something in the Alpha of the situation. Braxton, saw a slight tear fall from his victims eyes. Shifting hands in order to keep ahold of his prized jewel, he turned in front of her. Braxton lifted his free hand and would flick the tear from her face. He scoffed and would release her, but not before leaning into her ear and whispering. "Sweetness, don't forget my face. You'll be seeing more. I promise you..."
